We just came back from a 4nights stay that we mostly enjoyed. + We appreciated the view from our room, + the staff was lovely, + the bed was pleasant to sleep in, + the place was spotless, and + the spa was, on it's own, a reason to stay at this hotel. + The massages and additional services available are prompt and good quality. + We also liked the food - quality and variety. The location was nice. 40 min on foot to Peles and 10 min by car. Public transportation is available. That being said, there were some things that I disliked. I'll write them in the order we found out about them: - There was no AC. This is not terrible as the weather is cool, especially at night, but during the day, the temperature in the room can get to 27-28 degrees (windows closed). Feel free to keep your windows open, but know - with your windows open, you can hear almost everything your neighbours are saying. I can only assume they can also hear you. - The internet connection is horrible. Reminded me of dial-up and the time one had to wait to load a small photo. - The TV was simply for aesthetic purposes. Would only display one image. We could not watch the news or connect it to any external device. - What I found the most bothersome was what I consider a hidden fee. The hotel is pet friendly (which is one of the reasons we chose it). Prior to coming, we asked what conditions apply to pets and we were told they are simply welcome except for restaurant and spa. We had a few other hotel options but decided on H.I.Sinaia because they had no extra fees for pets. We found out at the end of our stay that we were wrong. The fee is 30 euros per night per pet. Affordable or not, having asked before coming, I was deeply dissappointed to find out at the end of my stay about it.

The hotel - 4*, my experience - 1* + big, well-maintained, good-looking room with a nice view over Sinaia + very comfortable bed + pool & gym access included + impossibly-huge selection for breakfast: literally anything any type of person could want + parking included + bowling and pool room (but with paid access) - very expensive even when booked lots of time ahead - the restaurant is also VERY expensive (and we weren't impressed by the food) - the gym's a mini-mini gym, I think it had 3-4 pieces equipment and that's it SPA - kinda basic: two inside pools (one small, one larger - to swim), one jacuzzi, one wet sauna, one dry sauna. There was a VIP area (where you get access if you pay for a massage or treatment) containing another jacuzzi, another dry sauna (way bigger) and a salt room. I wish to mention that we paid for a massage per person (we were a group of 6 girls) - very expensive, if I may add (because it's relevant for the story). We were the only customers requiring a massage that day and they tried to accommodate all of us in the same day (just as we asked), 2 at a time , 3 hours consecutively. They normally have one massage-therapist (an Asian girl who's very skilled, as it turned out), so they told us they'll call and get hold of a second person. The man they managed to call didn't seem to have any massage skills and it actually inappropriately touched all 3 of us who had a massage (the rest of 3 were assigned to the Asian girl). Due to the scheduling, we weren't able to discuss and warn each other of the behavior, which at the end we found it was typical for him (at least in our case). This is completely unacceptable and it ruined our experience with the hotel. I would not stay here again.

Excellent customer experience in a great hotel! Yes, a bit more on the pricy side, especially as I didn’t book ahead over uncertainty I could be there. However, you get an excellent welcome from the ladies at the reception desk, willing and able to help. And also got a “Happy B-day” as my birthday was just a few days ago. Which was nice and thank you. I also appreciated the effort in providing a room sooner that normal “check-in”, especially during a busy weekend. Great italian and austrian restaurants, tried them both. Food was great. The SPA zone has 2 jacuzzies, 2 pools, 2 saunas, for every taste. Elevators are a bit annoying, they have a very strange logic, so you may find yourself waiting more for one. Rooms are very nice, clean, bathrooms as well. Rooms facing north are cool, however they may be a bit noisy due to the roundabout, but not a real issue. Overall, a great stay, I’ll consider keeping an eye on some offers so I can come again 😆👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

The property has a lot of facilities to offer such as the SPA and the entertainment area. Also the staff were lovely especially the cleaning team and also the bar team. We liked our rooms , they were very clean and the balconies too. Disliked · I did not like a lot about the property. For the money you are paying as we have stayed for a week and we thought we would have the best experience it turned out to be not that good. First night we have ordered room service and as my partner is Muslim he cannot have anything that contains pork. We have checked their menu and the ingredients and choose to go for the beef burger as it did not include any pork. When we have received the order there was bacon in it , we raised it up with the hotel and their only excuse was that some burgers are cooked differently and they might contain pork even though it was not mentioned on the ingredients menu. The second night we had problems with the floor above us as the noise kept going on for 3+ hours and there was constant banging and for the hotel night staff it did take some time to get it sorted , even though we do not mind noise as we understand people are having a good time but that specific noise was getting out of hand. Third day we had issues with the radiator was we have found out that it was not working for 3 days in a row. The hotel maintenance attended and has resolved the problem but it’s their duty to check everything works before someone checks in , especially the heating! Another problem of ours was the day stuff which has a very arrogant attitude towards their job when they should be welcoming which did not happen for us. On the other hand I won’t recommend the SPA bar for any cocktails or mocktails. I have ordered a virgin mojito and the whole time I was just drinking sparkling water with mint and lemon and not a taste at all. The SPA is great it has 2 swimming pools , 2 jacuzzis and also 2 saunas, however all the people there are rude as they will sit in for ages and take as many chairs as they want and when you arrive there is no space to sit or enjoy...
