Meteora — Hotel in Suceava

I booked here through Booking and I chose to stay here just because the room had a balcony included. After arriving, however, my room did NOT have a balcony. I went down to the reception - and a woman told me I was wrong - I had a budget room with no balcony. No matter what I said she told me upfront that I was wrong. I then gave her the confirmation of a paid room with balcony - and she called for another man to talk to me at the reception. He kept saing the confirmation didn´t matter, it´s a budget room with no balcony. If I want a balcony, it cost extra. And if I didn´t like it - well, then there were plenty of other hotels close by. I have been to about 100 countries and I probably stayed at thousends of places - and this is the very first time I actually LEAVE a paid place! My friend didn´t want to look for another hotel in the pouring rain, but I felt very badly treated and I left. I ended up at Imperial Hotel just crossing the street. It was great! No rude staff and no tricks. I got what I paid for. And in the end it´s of course not about the balcony, it´s about how you treat your costumers, how you handle a problem and of course give to your paying costumers what they actually paid for (and have proof of). Btw I believe the room was 28, if someone else end up in the same situation. (But please don´t stay here, just cross...

update 2018: they are fixing alot of things lately I liked my third visit

Hotel is very nice (outside) interior is very very decent (it needs renovation cos door handle just dropped ,my college got stuck inside bath) ,it lacks plugs ,it lacks light ,I've been hearing a girl screaming and kicking the ground for at least 1.5 hours she was also laughing insanely loud but let's be honest ,you get what you pay for but I'll also say nice view outside, hot water runs nicely, heating is good enough ,staff seems very nice ,parking is no problem ,internet works well but again the price is really good ! So in other words let's just say...

Awful experience. They really don't care about the well-being of their guests. It's the second time I'm coming here and I'm very disappointed. The rooms are cold, the radiators are not working, there's tremendous noise coming through the door from the hallway, it's like there's no door at all. There are workers hammering stuff and reflooring, no chance of taking a nap or just resting... if you wanna renovate, first close the hotel or at least the floor that's getting refurbished. If you want something from the receptionist, first you must find the receptionist 'cause he/she is almost never at the reception. Very very very...
