Sonnenhof — Hotel in Suceava

Oh, how I could go on and an about how amazing the people of this hotel and restaurant were to us. We stayed at the hotel for 65 days assisting with Ukrainian refugees during the summer and every employee was amazing.

The hotel manager Juliana works miracles getting you settled into rooms and Oana, Christina, eCaterina and Adriana will serve assist and you with kindness Meeting your need as a guest at the Sonnenhof.

Regarding the restaurant you will not find a better breakfast in all of Europe (or America!). Their evening meals are beyond amazing especially the trout and lava chocolate cake!

Corina became a good friend and wonderful server along with Caitlin, Caesar, Roxanna, Alexandria and Ciprian, who all are amazing and make your dining experience fun and enjoyable.

We had booked an executive suite which was spacious with a separate lounge area and a whirlpool bath. It was supposed to have a view of the garden but unfortunately there was a flat roof in the way. There is no lift and there are lots of stairs which would make it very difficult if you are not very mobile. There didn’t seem to be any staff to assist with luggage. The outside terrace area was very pleasant either for an afternoon drink or dinner. Choice at breakfast wasn’t too bad but the eggs on the buffet were always cold. Due to the very cheap flights from Manchester we thought we'd try somewhere different. Suceava is a small town and we thought we'd pick the best hotel in the area. It was quiet and booked in asap on arrival. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are big. The restaurant downstairs is open to the public and is very good and cheap compared to similar UK restaurants (as is everything here). Don't be bothered about being slightly out if town as a Bolt/Uber is only £2. Online cost was £54/night which is excellent value. I would recommend coming to Suceava but for no...
