Pensiunea Sellina — Hotel in Sulina

This unit has a very good location, very close to the city center,restaurants,harbour etc.||It is kind of quite but in the evening you may hear some noise due to the fact that is very close to the Marea Neagra Restaurant.||In front of the unit they have a space where you can serve breakfast/lunch/dinner.It's breazy and a bit darker, very nice thing when there are 30 degrees outside.||The rooms were clean but they are pretty simple.Big old TV's, the remotes from the conditioner were missing,(from all 3 rooms) when showering you would get lots of water floating in the bathroom.The drain seemed to work veery sloooww.||At the time we got there there were 3 cats.Very nice and friendly (except the little one:)) ).The female got the habbit of climbing.Nothing wrong except that it got into our room while we were out and peed somewhere.||We didn't ask for the WiFi password as we had internet on our phones and therefore didn't need it but the lady that received us didn't even mentioned us that we have the posibility of using the WiFi.She wasn't exactly a bundle of joy and we had to ask her things like ..when can we serve breakfast?is it standard?can we choose perhaps?how much it is?etc and it made us look a bit picky in my opinion.I would have appreciated if she was presenting us from the begining some of our options regarding the food ,the prices, the accomodation etc.||We didn't get the trash bin chaged thing that bothered me a bit.||For drying the towels we had to hang them by the balcony which was dusty and rusted.The chair from the balcony was in a not so good shape...||The beds were not that comfortable but for 3 nights I think it is ok.If you plan to stay more and if you have back pains, you could have a problem.||The owner and his wife were nicer than the lady that received us.They were friendly and they organised us a trip along the chanells.||All in all it was ok,decent.We enjoyed the trip, we've seen uniqe astonishing things even one of our guides ( other than the owner) peeing directly...

We booked 1 night accommodation here, because it was well promoted and well priced.||Rooms are ok-ish if you do not look for quality, however is quite cold if it is not summer.||The rating is that low, mainly because of the service. We arrived in a large group, but only few slept there, mainly we were looking for food. The owner (i suppose), was quite arrogant answering very shortly to us, like we an expense for him.||As for the restaurant service, there was only one lady, she struggled to make things right, but is was definitely difficult for her to handle a large group. Mistake or intention, we cannot say, on the bill there was added an extra 100RON ( ~25Eur). All the prices were correct on the bill, but the mathematic result was higher ( the bill and the calculations were made by hand).||The food was good, i do not deny that, actually i recommend "Plachie de peste", a very good fish stew. However, when we asked for some "hamsie", owner's statement was that "it is too late to cook for you now". Quite sad :(||||I work in tourism as well and i was very disappointed about the service received at this Guest House.||My friends, this is not how you are supposed to make business anywhere, especially in a limited tourist offer area like the...

Me and family spent 3 nights here and our conclusions were :|- very good location ( you can easily get to the harbour or to the city centre,but for the beach I recommend getting a taxi )|-it was clean ( except the fact that they didn't take out the trash for four days)|-the food was OK but too expensive in my opinion.I didn't like that they don't have menus or prices on view..We had to constantly ask questions about these and it somehow seemed to bother the owners.|- the owner was not like a bundle of joy and in my opinion he was a little bit arrogant like somehow he was doing us a favour.|- we didn't have remotes for our air conditioning system and the owner said that they forgot them in Tulcea ( actually I think they were making up excuses)|- they never changed our towels |-the owner organizes trips in the Danube Delta but he charges more than the rest of the companies |-the place is quite and you can get...
