Grand Hotel — Hotel in Targu Mures Metropolitan Area

This is an 11 floors Hotel located deadly central. If you get a room with a boulevard view, then you'll see from your window the most important Secession Architecture masterpieces in town: the "Palace of Culture" and the City Hall. The rooms are decent furbished and the beds are quite cozy. The bathroom is pretty well updated and cool: they are separated from the room by blurred glass walls and sliding door. Stayed in a 7th floor room and the ventilation worked well (although a bit noisy). The breakfast is designed mainly for pork eaters - a large selection of ham, bacon, salo, sausages and cold cuts. For healthy breakfast fanatics, the breakfast here will be a bit of a problem. However, there are some plain yogurts, cereals and fresh fruits to choose from. The coffee is decent (anyway, if your coffee addiction can't be fixed by the hotel's coffee, there are many coffee shops just outside the hotel, on Trandafirilor Boulevard). The parking is free of charge and the parking lot is adequate for the size of the hotel (you can park in front of the hotel and on one side). All in all, this hotel is all about location. Unchanged Sheets, Unhelpful Staff – Very Disappointing A Very Disappointing Experience at Grand Hotel, Târgu Mureș, Romania

We came to the hotel on a business trip, expecting a pleasant and clean stay. Unfortunately, we were met with major disappointment on our first night.

Before going to bed, as we always do, we checked the sheets – and found they had not been changed. There were hairs and other obvious signs that the bed had not been cleaned after the previous guests.

We called the front desk and asked for someone to come and change the sheets, but were told there was no such service available at night. When we asked for clean sheets to change them ourselves, we were told they had none to provide.

They offered us another room, but we insisted on checking the bed first – and once again, we found used sheets and hairs.

The receptionist was unpleasant and unhelpful, making us feel as if we were bothering her rather than reporting a legitimate complaint. Not a single apology was given.

This entire ordeal, especially at a late hour, was frustrating and upsetting. Very poor hygiene, terrible customer service – a truly...

All is very bad, i called the reception to ask for iron and iron table to my room, she said they can not bring it to the room ( but they gave iron to the room just in front of my room, and the people who got the iron are my friends), but if i want they will send an housekeeping and she will do it, after 10 minutes an housekeeping came took my black shir and black trousers, after 10 minutes she bring my shirt and trousers, when i check my shirt she did not do any iron it, and my trousers were shining, burned and colour changed, i went to reception for that, the manager (a man with green eye with glasses) came also, i showed the situation of my trousers and shirt, he talked to me that he did not seen before i gave them to the women how he can believe me???
