Not much to say about this hotel, really..
Everything speaks for itself. But if I were to do a brief description of what my experience looked like, I'd say something along the lines of: everything was spot on, the rooms were clean and tidy, the service was impeccable, the staff was polite and respectful and ready to help whenever we had questions, etc.
Needless to say that if you get one of those rooms with street view you're literally in the heart of the city and the panorama is beautiful.
The food was tasty (both the breakfast buffet and the restaurant) and my girlfriend is one of those people that is skeptical regarding anything that she eats that's not home-cooked, and she dislikes most of the items that we try when we eat out, but she had nothing to say here, so that really says something.
There's also parking available.
The only inconvenient I can think of is the spa schedule. It's only from like 5 PM to like 9 PM. That's a little tight if you were to ask me.
You can book these guys either directly by calling in or via booking.com, ebookers.com or other platforms and you can pay pretty much in any way you choose to do so, cash, credit and they even accept vacation vouchers (for Romanians only). The only caveat here is that if you book via booking.com or other 3rd party online platforms you can't use the vouchers because of the hotel's policy. So, in order to use the vouchers you would need to call in and make a reservation and mention that you would like to pay using vacation vouchers (Edenred / Sodexo).
I would definitely recommend this hotel for any kind of trip, be it business or leisure and I, for one, would definitely return here upon my next visit to...
Read moreThese two hotels seem to be one, with the larger rooms marketed as 5 stars, but our standard (4 star) room was adequate in size. The location is perfect, within walking distances of many sights and restaurants. Not everyone will like the modern decor, as the contemporary art and chartreuse lighting in the hallway is not soothing. Our room was in excellent repair and was immaculate. The bathroom was spacious and featured high end fixtures. The breakfast buffet included in our rate was comprehensive. Free parking is included but not guaranteed—and was not available for either of the nights of our reservation. That isn’t a big problem on weekends when street parking is free, but could be a huge problem for guests with weeknight reservations.||||What’s not to like? The wedding reception that lasted for 8+ hours, extending to 11 PM, destroying the ambiance of the hotel and so loud that the lyrics of the music could be clearly heard in our fourth floor room. Clearly, this hotel values the revenue from their reception business over the ability of their paying guests to sleep. If you plan to use your hotel room to sleep, you may wish to look elsewhere.||||Additionally, the main elevator was out of service, and the other small elevator lurched disconcertingly at every stop. The noise insulation from the hallway was poor; we heard every word of a loud 3:30 AM conversation outside our doorway. The bed had a foam mattress without a box spring and the pillow seemed to be foam rubber, both disappointing at a hotel that claims 4/5 stars. This is a stylish hotel, superficially comfortable, but isn’t really about quality sleep for...
Read moreUnfortunately I was very dissapointed with the interaction I had with this hotel. I made a reservation through my company's services for 3 days using my credit card, and 2 days before checking in the services from my company reached out to the hotel and announced that I would leave 1 day earlier. I received a incomplete answer stating that reservations can't be changed in the last 2 days before check-in. So I informed also at the check-in that I would be leaving earlier. Since the actual day of my check-out was 2 days away I thought that I could fix it there and then.. but the person at the check-in desk although nice.. didn't properly know how to handle the situation. Long story short.. I left in less than 48 hours, but I payed also the 3rd night. Other big minus is the very poor internet connection. I worked in the hotel so I needed a good internet connection.. Not the case. Room is nice, air conditioning (heating) works well, good location, breakfast is OK. But I will definitely not go back to the same hotel in Tg Mures. I think that the impossibility to cancel a night 4 days prior to the actual date should not be the case, and internet connection should be on a completely different level at that price...
