Unfortunately, my experience at Hotel Concordia was far from the expectations I had for a 4-star hotel.||Bistro-style Restaurant: |The variety of dishes is extremely limited, and the food is at best mediocre. |The practice of automatically adding a 10% tip to the bill without informing customers is completely unethical. This misleads guests, encouraging them to leave an additional tip.||Breakfast: |The poorest and most uninspired I have ever encountered at a hotel.||The Room: |Full of dust, poorly maintained, and the cleanliness was lacking. I found trash of previous guests in the office shelves. |The bathroom is unhygienic, with limescale deposits mistaken for residue. |The electrical system works randomly, and gaining access to the room was a nightmare—the code had to be entered multiple times due to the nearly depleted batteries in the locks.||Minibar and Other Services: |The minibar products do not match the listed items. |Contradictory information displayed at the hotel. For example, the parking fee is shown differently on the same page of the rules: 40 lei/day and 35 lei/day.||The Pool: |A real trap, with unsafe lounge chairs and visible signs of deterioration. |My husband had a serious incident: the pool ladder detached, causing injuries to his elbow and leg. Only a miracle prevented this from having more severe consequences, as our 3-year-old son was about to descend that same broken ladder.||Staff Attitude: |When reporting the issues, the staff offered immature responses with no concrete solutions.||Conclusion: |Although the manager's promises to take action after the pool incident made us refrain from filing a complaint at the Consumer Protection, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. |A horrible...
Read moreWe live in Tg-Mures and we did not want to spend our wedding night at home thus decided on something "special" which was mentioned in the booking and when we arrived. At the time of booking (weeks before) I requested a room that oversees the central park, but got a standard simple room on Bolyai street seeing the walls of the building across the street. Before anyone judges me that I am "entitled" I will mention that I worked in the hotel and cruises industries for over 10 years and know that it is normal practice to give some amenities, arrange the room, something to commemorate the occasion which is why I chose a higher priced hotel. However it was a complete let down. We did purchase our own champagne and tried to make up for it, but now everytime we pass the hotel we just have a sour taste about the whole thing. It there would have been a "newlyweds package" I would have paid for it - but usually you just mention it and they minimally decorate the room. So if you chose this hotel for something special on your wedding night / anniversary better skip it. This is for sleeping only - the facade of the building is nice - the inside (amenities, service, attention to detail, special things) it is sadly...
Read moreI stayed at Hotel Concordia in Târgu Mureș, and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is located in a great central area, making it easy to explore the city and nearby attractions. The building itself has a classic and elegant design, which adds charm to the stay. The check-in process was smooth, and the staff were polite and helpful. My room was clean, well-maintained, and comfortable, with all the essential amenities I needed for a short stay. However, I did notice that certain facilities could use a bit of an upgrade to match modern standards. The breakfast selection was decent, though not extraordinary—there’s definitely room for improvement in terms of variety. That said, the service at the restaurant was friendly and attentive. For the price I paid, I found the stay to be good value for money, but some small improvements (e.g., updated decor or more breakfast options) could elevate the experience further.I would recommend Hotel Concordia to travelers seeking a quiet and comfortable stay in Târgu Mureș. I’d rate it 8/10 for the...
