Casa Leone — Hotel in Timișoara

I visit Timisoara once a year. On my last five visits I've stayed at Casa Leone. Upon entering the grounds you find yourself in a small garden setting with a small cafe style group of tables and chairs for relaxing and chatting. The rooms aren't big but are very comfortable To my pleasant surprise, the rooms are nice and warm in the winter time. Unlike even some of the much more expensive hotels that I've stayed at in Europe. And I've never had any issues with the hot water running out even when the place is fully booked. You can schedule you're breakfast anytime between 7:30am and 10:00am. Not too fancy but just right. I would choose to stay here over many of the upscale hotels in the area. The price is very reasonable. The staff/owner is very courteous. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The only thing is that there isn't an elevator. But that only adds to its charm. A 4 nights accommodation for a medical conference. Nice hotel, cosy athmosphere, very helpful staff. Good and quiet location, near the city center, but the parking place too small. We had to place our car on the other side of the street, and ... surprise ... next morning we found only 3 wheel caps! The rooms are very clean, we slept in Darling room. A little bit tiny, more suitable for a single, not a matrimonial room, only a bedside, the smallest i ever see, same for the wardrobe. If you have a bigger suitcase, there is no place for it, may be under the bed! There are other double rooms in the hotel, with plenty of space, at the same price. The breakfast was basic. Small guesthouse with a small inside garden, family run business||Friendly and polite staff||Quiet location, a little bit far from the center, but you can take a taxi which is cheap (max 10 Ron/2,5 Euro).
