I was there last night, September 15.||Staff was friendly and helpful. I love the fact that they give you actually real folding city maps, full street index, not just those printed guides with just a few streets making it imposible to find your exact location. All staff dressed nice with clean uniforms from the front desk to maids.||Hotel is nice inside-out, well maintained. ||The room was ok, clean, good furniture, bed and closet. ||Finally a decent ceiling light, I always find hotel rooms lack proper light. A very small TV, desktop, not wall mount, which makes it harder to watch while in the bed. ||||Washroom... Well.. That was a bit disappointing. The corner shower stall, by design, is to be against the two walls in the corner, that is the concept. The builder pulled it away to gain about 10 inches each way, not a bad thing if it is done properly, but was not. They filled the gaps with regular wall tiles with wide joints, the grout joints was black, disgusting mold. The cleaning staff dont notice that? It is impossible to miss. The shower control is old, as is the shower head, probably the reason there is no water pressure. Sink is also dated and the toilet.... another issue, lastly used in the morning before checking out the push flush button got stuck, wqter won't stop. I pushed it again an the whole button dropped in the tank. No ventilation whatsoever. ||An ironic compensation, there is a scale in the bathroom, who needs one in the vacation, or is this a friendly reminder not to eat too much at the buffet breakfast?||Which brings me there. Brakfast is minimal, nothing more than a budged hotel. I drink tea, there was only one type, some mixed berries tea. No green tea, not even chamomile, mint or anything like this. I asked the guy at the door. That's all they have. Really? Also no mugs or tea cups either, just regular small coffee cups, expresso size. Everything in breakfasts area was at the same scale: small||||Ok for a night stay but plumbing and breakfast needs major...
Read moreHotel seems stylish whatever there's no pathway entrance to the hotel. If you go by car you will wait at the barrier for 3 minutes. Receptionist not on duty and irresponsible. Please do not rely on pictures as they are old pictures.
The reception looks nice but the building is getting old due to the lack of maintenance. GYM is very decent. Sauna was broken.
Do not trust this hotel only if you really need to sleep there for the night only. Timișoara has better hotels especially in that central area if you want to enjoy your time away.
Unprofessional stuff. Receptionist and management team lying with confidence. They tired to cancelling my booking I made 2 moths in advance for the reason they have no extra spare rooms. In the morning I found out the management team decided to prioritize a sports team to stay with their stuff for the weekend as they had to play a game.
Corrupted hotel and management as Romanian government. The hotel owner does not care about other people as he will ignore anyone in order to prioritize sport teams to stay over night.
Terrible experience, extremely annoying. Please do not book in advance as they can cancel you without notification and you will find out they do not want you to stay and you will have to find another...
Read moreSleeping is possible, but the room is below expectations, although in the pictures it looks very good. It's just pictures. I rented an apartment, the rooms are quite spacious, but the design is tiring, the windows without sieve for mosquitoes, without balcony, and in annex B where these apartments are there is no place for smokers, and in front of the annex is untidy. The bathroom is crowded, there are beetles that appear when the light comes on. in the hotel lobby it smells horrible. Dirty carpet, untidy walls. In the case of light and lamps, they are fine. However, the worst surprise was on Monday morning at 4 o'clock, when the garbage truck came to pick up the dumpsters located in front of the apartment window. Breakfast, I leave it to you to guess. I do not recommend this hotel, especially if you are coming...
