Hotel Vanilla - Restaurant & Terasa — Hotel in Timișoara

I spent 3 nights in Hotel Vanilla, the old center of Timișoara is 20 -30 minutes on foot, the surrounding streets are not the most beautiful things to see, the airport is approximately 30 minutes by car (taxi, Uber around 10 eur) bit more difficult with public transport,but then you arrive and the staff is polite and suuuuper nice! Really! Thanks and congratulations for that!👏🏻 The room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable for my taste, the blanket and pillows were high quality! I had several books in my room and they had like 50 + tv channels in different languages.

Breakfast was buffet breakfast: they had like 4 types of cheese and the same amount of ham/salamis, fruits, yogurt and you could order omletts or fried eggs, (the ham and cheese omlett was delicious.)

But the best is yet to come: The back yard with parking places for the hotel's guests and behind it, a magical garden! Several tables with tasteful concept and design, birds chirping, nice jazz music and sunset. I served dinner in this amaizing place. The waitress suggested me a big variety of drinks (cocktails, homemade lemonades and great wines). I had one of my favourite dishes, the stuffed cabbages (RO - sarmale / HU - töltött káposzta) And as I also told her, this was better than my mom's! And trust me I tried this dish in several cities and countries!

They always smiled, so thanks a lot! Hope to come back...

We were two at the table. And i'll tell you what we ordered so you can figure out the whole picture. So we are talking about some chicken breast with cheese sauce, potatoes and salad and fried calamari. For one person food arrived after 1 h 10 m wait, as for me ,after 20 more minutes, still didn't come. Of course that the waitress didn't even bring cutlery. At the table next to us, they gave the order 20 min later than us, and their food arrived and finished it, before it arrived at our table. When i told the waitress this, she basically lied looking into my eyes, saying that they gave the order before. But we were just next to each other so we heard the whole talk. The hotel and rooms are nice and i have nothing to complain about. But the restaurant staff and their rudness, made me give them this review. Hope that they will reconsider their management policy. The only thing i know for sure is that they lost...

I'll start with the employees. Great people. Everyone with a big smile on their faces. It was a great experience for us and also for our kids. They loved the books on every selves, the fixed phone, the garden and short time to kids park. 😊

We get a biiiig room with a very big bathroom. 2 adults, 2 kids. 1 king size bed and 1 sofa. În every corner you find a book. If you left yourself @home there it's a lot of books to read. This is great. Downstairs we found table games as chess&rummy.

În a half of hour we slowly walk to the center of town. There are a bunch of activities to choose from.

Very accessible. Probably 20 minutes from the center of Timișoara.

We get the breakfast there. They offer products from local farmers. Vegetables, cheese and some meat products with great taste. At request they prepared eggs for all of us. Personalized for each of us. Great...
