I booked the family suit for 3 -4 people for my boyfriend and I. It says the room comes with a lake view, city view, balcony and terrace. We paid the higher price for the bigger family suit. Upon arrival the host gave us the small family room with no view and no balcony and a common terrace that his family was using. I felt something was off and asked the host if this is the big family suit I paid the 61$ euro for. He replied “you are two people is this not good enough for two people”. I knew I had not paid for this room. ||||As I felt uncomfortable/knew I was getting screwed over I decided to cancel the reservation on the spot. At this time the host became pushy and rude. He kept stalling the cancellation and making rude remarks. We paid cash for the cancellation. I kept trying to ask for a receipt for confirmation of cancellation from him so we didn’t get charged on the credit card as well. We did not have an issue with the cancellation fee but rather with his rude remarks. I repeatedly kept stating we didn’t want to be double charged on a cancellation. Therefore we rented the apartment, that offered the possibility to sleep seperatly.|On arrival, the host told us that she did not agree to rent the apartment at 2 persons, and that she choosed herself to change the booking for a smaller double bedded room, without any communication with us. My son being autistic, he does not like sudden changes. We searched and found an alternative place to stay, but the stress had a huge impact on my son : at this moment, 16h the day after, he is sleeping in bed in reaction to the stress from yesterday. Read moreWe booked 2 suite rooms and we called to ask for 1 more room for two persons. The owner promised at the phone that he reserved one more room for us. When we arrived, the wife of the owner told us they were not expecting us, but instead they expected Polish people for which we later found out that they have a room with jacuzzi. After talking with the very disrespectful owner he took us to another villa down in the town to find room for us. The rest of the family remained at his villa on the hill, where the bathrooms smell horribly and they had no warm water in the evening.
