Casa Bucovineană — Hotel in Vatra Dornei

The food was below average at best. Ciorba de sfecla cu afumătură was fine, ciorba de vita was better, Buț ciorba rădăuțeană was pretty bad — it tasted like butter soup. Other dishes had by our party of 5 were just too salty. Sos de usturori was garlic from a jar — tasted of preservative. Here’s the worst parts: it’s dirty. The tables are dirty, tablecloths, chairs, bathrooms. It’s clear they don’t clean the dining room. Next, they are sneaky: they bring bread and ardei iute with the ciroba, and then charge you per slice of bread and pe ardei. Smantana for a ciorba is 5 lei. This is not normal to bring items and then charge for it. Sneaky sneaky. Nu imi place this behavior. So, it’s pretty bad. We ate here last year and thought it was brilliant. Today we stopped for a very anticipated meal and it was a JOKE! The cook should resign. We ordered a mixed grill and though one cannot go wrong with it. How far from reality was I. The meat had no flavour ( not even salt and pepper), was stringy, sausage was dry and again had no flavour, the liver had no salt ( even the local moggy did refused to eat it). Th waitress was completely disinterested. No one cared whether we liked the meal or not. We ended up with a random kid giving us the bill before we could even see the food. La sfarsitul lunii iulie 2021 eu impreuna cu sotia, am ajuns din pacate si la Casa Bucovineană cu gandul sa mancam ceva dupa ce am parcurs vreo 530 km cu masina Spun din pacate, deoarece m-am luat dupa recenziile postate pe Google si rau am facut Ajunsi la Casa Bucovineană, am comandat ceva simplu, usor de pregatit in ideea de a nu astepta prea mult la masa O ora si douazeci de minute am asteptat la masa, pentru doua portii !!! O trupa de motociclisti veniti dupa noi, s-au asezat la mese, au comandat ce au dorit si au fost serviti inaintea noastra deoarece angajatii Casei Bucovinene se cunosteau cu acestia In cele din urma, sotia mea nu a mai suportat si s-a dus la bucatarie sa ceara sa vorbeasca cu patroana Contactata telefonic, patroana, a spus ca sunt foarte multe comenzi si nu poate sa faca o servire mai rapida, deoarece personalul este insuficient; iar o angajata de la bucatarie a spus citez : ,,Eu nu am mancat nimic pana la ora asta !! ’’ (era ora 13:15) Chiar ne interesa pe noi aceste lucruri ??? Cat despre motociclistii serviti inaintea noastra, angajatii ne minteau in fata cum ca nu este adevarat, ca acestia au venit inaintea noastra; de iti venea sa ii iei la pumni Dupa ce au mancat, trupa de motociclisti au demarat din parcare, care este lipita de Casa Bucovineană, lasand dupa ei o dara de fum si miros de benzina invadand locatia Eu si sotia, asteptam in continuare sa vina mancarea Dupa o ora si douazeci de minute, timp in care am vrut sa ma ridic de mai multe ori de la masa si sa plec, a venit si mancarea slab calitativ si scumpa Mai bine luam cate un sandwich de la benzinarie si eram mult mai castigati De evitat...
