Cota 1200 — Hotel in Zona Metropolitană Brașov

We stayed last year for a week. I actually proposed there to my girlfriend. The staff did great in surprising us with a bottle of red wine and a box of chocolates. ||Location - outside the actual resort, on the way to Trei Brazi Chalet (about 10 min drive from the train station). From this POV I recommend having a personal car. Taxis are about 10-12 RON ($4). We were there last week of Feb 2013 so the snow was still plenty...we did a lot of walking which actually helped with digesting dinner.||Building - spacious rooms with balcony. We had room 12. The view was great...There is a TV in every room (not that we spent much time indoors). The reception is welcoming. We had once breakfast and dinner (we preferred to change the eating location every day) - nothing fancy but fulfilling. There is a large parking lot. Stayed for 2 nights and it was great value for money! The staff are friendly and there are enough parking spaces right next to the property. It is located at the top of the hill so the air is fresh and it's far from the main road going through Predeal. It's a short drive to Cabana Trei Brazi and could be a starting point for several hikes/walks around the area. ||||Here are the few details we didn't like: When we first entered the room, we were welcomed by the smell of cleaning products, so we had to open the window immediately. The bedsheet did not cover the whole bed (it was too short) and there was not enough toilet paper (though we were given a roll when we asked). Breakfast is served until 11 o'clock though at 10 there were no more sausages left; also the bread was not great (but I'm being picky here).||||Overall it's a...

My partner and I stayed there last weekend. It was the perfect choice...very quiet area and close enough to the city centre. The en-suite room was spacious and cozy. The receptionist was very welcoming, helpful and professional. There was a shared balcony with a great view and that made our morning coffee more enjoyable. Would definitely...
