Hotel Decebal — Hotel in Zona Metropolitană Brașov

I spent there 2 nights on my journey around Transylvania. This hotel is about 3,5km on foot from Brasov city centre, but you can take a taxi there for 2€ from the centre too (by road it is about 5 km). ||The hotel has 3 floors without the lift - so if you have heavy luggage you need to be strong enough to carry it upstairs. ||It is clean B&B hotel, with a little dated, but well-equipped rooms (bathroom, TV, fridge, Wi-Fi). ||For breakfast isn´t buffet table - the food is “waiting for you” arranged for each person on plate in dinning area, so you can´t eat what you want. Don´t expect any vegetable or fruit for breakfast - only 3 sorts of salami (4-5 slices altogether), a slice of ham, 2 slices of chees, 1 small piece of butter, 1 very little pack jam, a cup of fruit tea, small pack of honey, little coffee and probably 2-3 slices of bread for 1 person. I remember these types of breakfast from my summer camps, when I was a child 😊, but if you eat all they prepare for you, you will not be hungry. They absolutely don´t waste the food! The outside looks fine , the man at the counter looked a lil creepy always smiling at the laptop, the hallway is long and kinda creepy, but our room (114) was a total mess and smelled discusting, there was stains and blood on the wall and the smoke divice, a poster was missing , the bathroom door didnt want to close and someone forgot to flush and there was shit in the toilet and it smelled horrible, we didnt shower bc of the smel, we had to eat ata restaurant on another street, wifi is so bad it only worked in 1 room, our door had a axe hole and in the drawer was a blanket that smelled like rats, we didnt sleep till 1 am bc we aere hearing a man breating heavily in the bathroom and we sat in the hallway until it stopped, the curtians had ciggarets holes , at the enterance was a friendly , soft and cute dog that we all pet , after all 2 stars ,and 5 for the dog , never...

Stayed here in October 2019 and we were pleased with their conditions.||Pros: cheap, clean and big room, bathroom in the room, a lot of space for clothes, shoes and your personal care products, good mattress for your back, towels. Even though when we went there, only the bathroom radiator worked, the room was warmth more than enough. Right next to the hotel you have 2 supermarkets, from where you can buy fresh sandwiches (they make it in front of you), fruits, snacks, drinks, personal care products. There were taxi cars in front of the hotel and there is also a generous parking. |||Cons: no elevator and there are 3 floors, very thin walls, so you will hear everything (if someone next to your room is coughing, or goes to the bathroom, or has some action or if a baby is crying), the rooms are cleaned every 3 days, so take that into consideration if you gonna stay...
