Hotel Lotos — Hotel in Irkutsk

Despite that there is nothing reflected or affected us during our stay , the hotel is somehow looked "weird" to us as if it is running a parallel business of providing escorts for some of those who are looking for a one night stand company . ||That was quite clear on how the receptionist is talking and the people were seen coming out and in from the Hotel ||The cleanness is a huge question mark as we were given a room with a stinky smell and we kept scratching our bodies the whole single night. The price is quite high compared to other hotels and the only good thing in the hotel is the ability to provide heated water from the hotel water heater independent from the governmental supplies ||Not recommended to...

Good location, walking distance to most of worthwhile places in Irkutsk. The rooms aren't big but clean and very basic. No AC in our rooms but with open windows at night this was not a problem even if the day temperatures went way up to round 35 degr. Celsius.||OK breakfast, also very basic. Reception very (!) friendly even though they didn't speak a word English. With smartphone, google app-translation we were able to have quite far going communication with them. Laundry: very cheap! and quick!||So if you're on a small budget - here's definitely a place to consider - nothing fancy but for what you pay - you get plenty. We can recommend this...

I & my friends walk in for triple room, room is acceptable condition (have bathroom, TV, refrigerator), location was great. However, the point that I give 2 star because after check out, we need to leave luggages here before night flight. The hotel charge us 500p (2-28in bags, 3-small bags) for 5-6 hrs. Once we back to get luggages and wanna go to toilet. The woman who is reception on 9 Mar said to my friend that we're not their guests anymore and can't use toilet!! then she went to lock the toilet too!! WTH?? 😑😑 We never found this kind of this...
