Izmailovo Beta Hotel — Hotel in Izmaylovo District

Terribly sorry for Beta Izmailovo and partners that they chose to work with. Extremely unprofessional service at CityTravel (ООО «Сититревел») company who is an oficial representative of the Beta Izmailovo Hotel.

We are traveling with chihuahua dog and it was very important for us to find a pet friendly hotel for 7 days. When we placed our reservation through CityTravel (ООО «Сититревел») we were told that pets are allows at the hotel Beta Izmaylovo and no issues should be. Later on we got checked in at the hotel Beta Izmailovo and were living there for three days with our dog. On our forth day of stay security stoped us at the entrance of the hotel and said that dogs are not allowed at this hotel and we have to leave. The guy does his job,I understand,but Most important here how security was treating us. Extremely disrespectful with not knowing the situation he was awfully rude to two people with a little dog who are customers of the hotel Beta Izmailovo. Name of the security was Anton Alexandrovich who refused to give his full name in the same manner that he welcomed us. When I went to the CityTravel (ООО «Сититревел») reservation stand to talk about my booking to tell that their representative confirmed me that dogs are allowed here by the phone and we were checked in with it. I was told that they don’t know how we could make a reservation with a dog,how we got checked in and how we are living here with a dog for a few days because dogs are not allowed so we have to leave right away. All of it was told with an unprofessional attitude and disrespect. I was told that I am a lier who is trying to sneak a dog into hotel,for example. No help,no solutions,zero effort. Security Anton Alexandrovich was kicking us from the hotel, Maria (CityTravel representative) and Anastasia (Aristocrat representative) were super aggressive didn’t know how to hold conversation with a customer who is lost and need help. At least, apologizes for misunderstanding and help to find other hotel to stay will be more appropriate in situations like this. I understand that hotel stuff are people and can make mistakes but the resolution of it should be treated properly. I was extremely offended even by not my fault or mistake. Above it I missed an important meeting because of moving hotels and money on booking other place since dates are ergant. Please,be aware if you get some issues with CityTravel (ООО «Сититревел») you will be facing rude unprofessional service and/or have to switch your hotel quickly because of the same...

Extremely disappointed with this hotel due to racist staff. If you’re Chinese or of an Asian descent, I recommend you check with your tour group on whether you’re going to stay at this racist hotel. The hotel restaurant have two buffet areas that use to be one area; a receptionist stands at the entrance for both areas each morning and segregates Asian customers, in particular Chinese customers to non-Asian customers. The buffet area with the Asian customers gets lack of service, poor quality food and is over crowded. According to our tour guide, we pay the same price for both areas of the buffet so we shouldn’t be told which side of the buffet to go to or have a different menu.

When we went for breakfast, the restaurant receptionist told my mother and I that we belonged to a “group” therefore we have to go to the substandard area of the buffet. When I enquired as to what she meant by us belonging to a “group” and if she can show us how she determines who goes to which buffet area (did she mean our tour group? Or has a list of room numbers or any reasons for segregating us?), she was unable to tell us and decided to let us into the “nice” buffet without further explanation - perhaps to appease us. I was too shocked and angry to eat. People at the nice area of the buffet are mostly non-Asian customers, some people from our tour group who can speak Russian and English was also allowed into that nice area which shows that the receptionist just used her own prejudice to decide who goes to which buffet area based on how they look, dress and speak rather than an objective standard! This was blatant discrimination and very disappointing noting that I travelled to Russia all the way from Australia. Our tour guide also told us that this hotel used to have the same buffet menu for all customers and due to having some issues with a few customers they have now changed to this ridiculous racist policy. I can’t believe this is a four star hotel! I provided feedback to their manager and still have not received an explanation. I will not be recommending this hotel to family and friends who are thinking of visiting Russia. Save yourself some money, there are plenty of good hotels that respects their customers and treats customers of all races and colours with respect, equality...

This is a first rate hotel with superb staff throughout. For example, really nice and helpful Receptionist People, Really good kitchen staff who make lovely breakfasts and the People who do hygeine work have this Hotel absoluely spotless and everything works and you can have a lovely bath whenever you like. I cannot praise this hotel highly enougth, but to me it is a 5 star hotel and the Hotel are continually updating and improving their facilities and it also has very good and very helpful security staff. All in all, it is a superb hotel, suitable for Couples, families, senior citizens or single young people who would like to enjoy Moscow's Night-Live and Clubs etc. Also it is only 5 minutes walk to a superb and very reasonably priced Public Transport System, that includes the best Metro system in the world, and Trams and Buses also and if you need a Taxi, they are also always available. Plus it is situated a minute walk from an absolutely amazing Public Park where everything is either Free or very reasonably priced and there are some excellent Restaurants within walking distance from the hotel, I rate this hotel at 9/10.
