Rooms & Breakfast — Hotel in Murmansk

The hotel is very clean, neat and tidy. Staff is helpful however speak minimal English. Communication can be managed with google translator. |There is tea, coffee, sugar, hot water, cookies and basic kitchen equipment such as microwave, coffee machine, kettle etc. always available in the pantry for the guests to use anytime which is very convenient.|The breakfast is a small buffet set-up but tasty and sufficient.|The hotel is located in the city, next to a bus route and easy to take a taxi with Yandex (arrival within 5-10 minutes). There are Restaurents, supermarkets and money exchange located near the hotel. |Northern lights and Tour to Arctic Ocean coast were great experiences during our stay in Murmansk. Tour to Snow village and Khibiny mountains were also noteworthy. I can recommend “Arctic Freedom” tour company for these excursions where prices are reasonable and they have helpful and knowledgeable guides. |One restaurant with reasonable prices which I can recommend is attached in the photo. Not sure about English name. But it’s located near the junction about 10 minutes walking distance from Mini hotel...

Arriving at midnight from the railway station ( the taxi first trying to drop me at the Park Inn as that's where foreign tourists stay ! ) is not always the best time to check in but I got a warm welcome, all the paperwork done swiftly & shown to my room.|The room was bright , clean , cosy & comfortable with everything you could need.|The bathroom was fantastic & much appreciated after the long train trip.|The choice at breakfast a buffet was substantial & the all day tea & coffee never ran out.|I had gone to Murmansk to see the Victory Day celebrations my travel agent had promised details of the events, locations & times but hadn't bothered to find out. When I asked at reception I was given all the details & had a wonderful time.| I was delighted with every aspect of this hotel & so glad I chose to stay there.|Great value for money, Great service.Great location , Great security.|I would be more than happy to...
