WineWood Moscow — Hotel in Presnensky District

tbh the hotel has good food but the thing is the rooms u can hear other rooms flashing and the sound of the pipes when the water going thru the stairs was rough claiming ladder i was in stideo deluxe , the reception was not helpful give me wrong details , also when i try to check out late yes i told them early morning and they didnt even say okay or no they deal with me like am some thief or garbage after i left to search or exchange they sent message by wassup says "You have 2 option take your bag or we take them " note that i told them am willing to pay my duration it was only 4 hr staying cuz i need to exchange money they even refused to help me since most of the exchangers was far or closed it was new year day off all i needed was 100$ "9000rub" exchange for the taxi which made me call my embassy to arrange me car which srsly embarrassing moment to call embassy for this silly cases they dont have any middle solution they gave this hotel 4 star FGS its not even 2 STAR .

Here the staff will go that one extra mile to make you enjoy your stay. That is important. I will come back here and maybe then give the last missing star.

The last missing star, that is due to the fact that this is a new hotel. Some technical and organisational issues that can and probably will be dealr with in due time.

Positives are the energetic staff. Good atmosphere and great location. As exhibitors at the Expocenter this place is close by. Actually this is close to all of Moscow it seems. You have to be OK with a bit smaller rooms as the hotel is placed in an old factory and thick brickwalls restrains the designs. The rooms are smallish yet clean and modern. On the yard there is a hotel parking you can pay for to have easy access. Cozy wine bar downstairs!

Improvements are of technical nature as we experienced hot water issues - these were however dealt with the second they were discovered. An other set back was the speed of the delicious a la carte model breakfasts ...probably this will resolve it self by time.

 I come to Moscow at least once a year for work. The Winewood was a great find for me with its excellent location and exceptionally personalised service. They give you a number to whatsaap on arrival, so you can just keep in touch with them via whatsaap which was very handy. The restaurant is great with a wide variety of wine to choose from. I ate a few meals here and all where great. I stayed in a loft /studio which was spacious and well kitted out. The stairs up to the bed are rather steep though , so I wouldn't suggest it for anyone with physical limitations. The breakfast is not buffet, you choose from around 5 options which were all well served. The building does not have an elevator but the staff help you with your bags and the highest level is only 2 flights of stairs. A special mention to Anton, he is an absolute star, nothing is too much for this guy and he really made my stay better. I highly recommend this place not only as a hotel, a lovely place to have business meetings during the day and also for dinner. Keep up...
