Hotel Kenito — Hotel in São Tomé

My wife and me had a great time in Hotel Kenito. The hotel is in the city, but you can reach the most beautiful beaches in 20-30 minutes by car, which you need to rent anyway to get around in Sao Tome. The hotel is very nice, clean and cozy. The rooms are well equiped with a fridge and AC. The breakfast is very delicious. All this for a relatively cheap price, for sure the best price to value. As a European used to European standards this hotel is the ideal choice where to stay in Sao Tome. The best “extra” of the hotel is Kenito himself, who is a very friendly, nice guy, speaking perfect English. He knows Sao Tome very well and gives you very good recommendations what to do, where to go. He knows everyone in Sao Tome! Hotel Kenito is one of the best hotels in São Tomé. The location is perfect as it’s close to many of the places you would like to visit while in the city. We found the price to be great and for £10 or 250 Dobras, they serve you nice breakfast by their swimming pool. It’s a great experience to have breakfast with such a beautiful view. All the rooms have water heaters as well! And the Wi-Fi on the premises is great.

We also found the Manager (Kenito) and his team especially Joel and Katia (I hope I got the name right 😅) to be very helpful and accommodating of all our request as we were a group visiting the island for the first time.

The best place to stay in Sao Tomé! The hotel is clean, the rooms are nice, the AC is cold, the breakfast is delicious, but the best by far is the owner Kenito! My wife and me stayed 7 nights in Hotel Kenito and it saved our vacation in Sao Tome. It meets all the European standards. As we are not speaking any Portoguese, perfect English speaking Kenito helped us in every need we had. Don’t be afraid to stay in the city, as every part of the island can be reached fast.
