It is such a disappointing experience. This is the first time I ever gave such a review. From the moment I arrived till the moment I left I was treated like a piece of unwanted luggage.
I stayed at this hotel for 4 days end of Dec 2023. I always stay at another international chain, however the kind hosting party at the conference suggested that all speakers are hosted to avoid the rising Riyadh traffic jams.
My plane arrived at 8am Riyadh time and I had requested early check in. Of course upon arrival reception did not recognize my name, nor the booking nor the contact person of the conference! Then I had to wait until 13:30 to receive my room! I was not offered any water or even an apology for the confusion! The room is adequately clean and quiet. This is the standard king bed room. I requested to book upgraded room at my own expense and was told this is not on offer! So do they have the room or not? Is it only with a balcony? There is no welcome basket. On the 3rd day I caught a virus and was with fever and could not sleep. Not a single employee was able to tell me the nearest pharmacy nor the nearest 24-H clinic or hospital! Do they live in Riyadh? One employee coldly said just open google maps and look for it! The transport desk attendee (wears glasses) simply said it’s not my job go and ask the Philipino man at the restaurant, then he went back to watching his U-tube comedy!
I finished the conference earlier that evening and ate dinner at AlDireya restaurant. The food was bland. There is high use of mayonnaise in 4 salads. Drinks are water Pepsi and 7Up with no fresh juice options. I couldn’t finish my plate so it is not worth the money SAR220! The fourth day was my check out day so I requested a 4-hour extension for late check out at my own expense. I had not properly slept for 2 nights and was still with fever and vertigo. I informed the receptionist and he said simply we can’t the hotel is full! He didn’t bother to wish me well not even offer an alternative option. I ended up checking out at 12:30 and sitting in the hotel lobby with my body chills and dizzy head until 16:30 when I went to the Airport.
Upon arrival to Dubai I was received from the airplane onto a wheelchair right up to the car home!
Having said this I will not forget to mention Mr Alexander or Alex who is one of the best hotel staff I have ever met. Not only is he a gentleman, he is reliable and has very high emotional intelligence skills. From the moment Mr Alexander came to take my bags to keep in the store room for me, he displayed amazing natural customer service. He immediately noticed my tiredness and showed good empathy and eagerness to help. He even helped me repack my bags without losing his calming and friendly smile for 1 moment. A STAR employee on all dimensions

Read moreMy recent stay at Radisson was nothing short of enchanting. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for an unforgettable experience.
The room, elegantly decorated and meticulously maintained, offered a haven of comfort and tranquility. The plush bedding ensured a restful night's sleep, while the breathtaking views from the window added an extra touch of magic to each morning.
The staff, courteous and attentive, went above and beyond to ensure that every need was met. Whether it was arranging transportation, recommending local attractions, or accommodating special requests, their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident at every turn.
One of the highlights of my stay was undoubtedly the culinary experience. The hotel's restaurants served a delightful array of dishes, each crafted with precision and bursting with flavor. From indulgent breakfast buffets to romantic dinners by candlelight, every meal was a feast for the senses.
Furthermore, the hotel's amenities left nothing to be desired. The spa, with its rejuvenating treatments and serene ambiance, provided the perfect opportunity for relaxation and self-care. And the fitness center, equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, allowed me to maintain my workout routine even while traveling.
Overall, my time at Radisson surpassed all expectations. It's rare to find a place that combines luxury, comfort, and genuine hospitality in such perfect harmony. Whether you're traveling for business or leisure, I wholeheartedly recommend this hidden gem to anyone seeking a truly unforgettable hotel experience.
Thank you to the entire team for making my stay truly exceptional. I look forward to...
Read moreThe hotel is very good in terms of design, atmosphere, meeting rooms and location
I have some comments due to my fifth visit to the hotel lobby
1- The sound of the elevators are very, very, very loud. It is possible to reduce their sound as much as possible, because the place is considered practical and business, and quick business meetings are held at a table behind the reception and the lobby in general. But the noises are very annoying to the online meetings and spoil the music in the place
2- the coffee. The first time there was drip coffee, and now there isn’t, and there is a device that is considered self-contained, like those at groceries. I hope you will return the drip
3- I had lunch and dinner at Al Diriyah Restaurant. First, the pictures on the menu are completely different from what I have received .. If I doesn’t love the place, I would apologize for paying Lunch: Chicken Kabsa .. The whole chicken was mostly bones, and I gave a note to the waiter.
Dinner was a Club chicken sandwich, since it is one of the best sellers according to their words.. but the bread is sandwich bread, not a club
The used ketchup and mayonnaise are only seen in 3-star hotels. As for all the 5 stars, they have the excellent Heinz
4- This is very important. The public washrooms in the lobby and at the praying place can have cleaning shifts and filling their contents of soap and tissues that are very far from their hours and not close. Because the level of cleanliness inside the bathrooms is less than expected in a 5-star hotel..and tissues and soap more than once I had to go to the...
