Hotel Zlatibor — Hotel in Cajetina Municipality

This was a huge disappointment staying at Zlatibor Mountain Hotel Resort. I had huge expectations of this 5 star hotel as photos looked great. Yes the interior is nicely furbished and rooms nice but the staff and food just ruined the stay. This was my 105th night in a hotel in 2022. One I will not forget. So why just a one star?||There is no privacy in your room. Housekeeping/staff enters at random without knocking ALSO when the do not disturb is on. You can NOT lock the door from the inside. They might be looking at you when you sleep! Creepy!|First time they enterered (which I know off) was to clean the room which was done just quickly. But do not disturb was on so stay out. Put a note under the door you cannot clean because of do not disturb. |Second time i was doing a power nap at 3pm but had put the suitecase in front of the door as i could not lock it. I woke up after a big bag when staff entered smashing the door to my suitecase. WHY? Do not disturb was on. Stay out. |Third time, someone just enterered again and was already 2 meters in my room until they noticed me. Why? Do not disturb was one. Stay out of my room.||No privacy and staff walking in and out of the room is just creepy. And no lock to prevent it. ||They only offer rooms booked on half board which includes breakfast but also dinner. Which is allright but I was expecting a top notch dinner for this price in Serbia. It was simply terrible. The buffet was mediocre at best and tasteless. Then, drinks arent included so after dinner the bill was the same as would be a good dinner in a nearby restaurant. Breakfast was just standard and also nothing over the top and the cold items the same as dinner. ||Then staff. At the lobby bar takes ages to get an order done. After 15-20 minutes I had to ask for a drink. And then when finished again to get one more. No service. ||So. The overpriced hotel doesnt offer service. Terrible food. And no privacy. I...

I would have given 5 stars to the review: the rooms are spacious, clean and very modern, the facilities are amazing: pool and spa is very luxurious and spacious and clean, there is a wide variety of spa options and although the hotel was fully booked the spa and pool did not feel crowded, the food was amazing and the restaurant service was excellent.... However check in and check out was nightmarish (too crowded and very slow operating staff and the reception), and eve though they very slow they were not very thorough in their work: at check out I was given a passport of another guest and when I explained they are giving me a wrong personal document they just shrugged! And they had no idea how to resolve the issue except to wait and see who returns with my passport that they have obviously given out to another guest that already left. I am very sorry to give this review but in terms of safety this is one of the worst things that can happen at a hotel. And on top of it, the reception staff did nothing to help me in this issue, but I had to run and find out which guest had my passport and luckily we managed to solve this. This is a very big mishandling which unfortunately makes me think of coming back again. This is the reason I am giving 2 stars for staff, although with the exclusion of reception staff, everyone else working at this hotel was friendly, pleasant and extra helpful. Sadly I am giving a lower review, since it is an amazing hotel and really in terms of other services, cleanliness and everything else it is more than amazing. Hope that staff esspecially at reception will be much much much more improved in the future, as I really wish to visit again and feel good about staying...
