Nice hotel, with lots of positive and some negative sides - would come again
Rooms: probably amongst bigger rooms in Kragujevac. If your room is located towards the street, you'll be awaken by the sun, but much sooner, the noise from the very busy street will wake you up. If this is a problem, get a room facing backyard. Maintenance of the rooms could be improved - really loud AC external unit, non-working light bulbs, dripping sink... nothing that couldn't be improved with a bit more enthusiasm. The rooms are clean.
Windows are not the newest and the sound insulation is not the best.
Service: the hotel is run by mostly young ladies, helpful and supportive. Especially Miona and Mina are to be mentioned here, in a positive way! Breakfast needs to be paid extra, but it is not expensive and not bad. The only thing missing is a real coffee - only the instant coffee is available, espresso etc. needs to be ordered extra and also paid for (hint: at least one coffee with milk/cappuccino or similar should be included in breakfast free of charge).
Rooms are cleaned only if requested!
Location: if you want to go downtown on foot or visit one of many restaurants nearby (Pljeskovac or Ambassador recommended), this is a perfect location. Then again, it is not perfect due to a noise from the main street.
Parking is in the backyard (pretty cramped and therefore limited) and also across the street. Need to honk in the tunnel for the gate to get opened.
WiFi available free of charge (my measurements 25/12 MB DL/UL).
Sauna/spa available as well,...
Read moreI had the pleasure of spending one night in the business suite in Hotel Ema. The whole entire place exceeded by expectations. It's not always easy to find friendly and outgoing front desk staff, but this place has more than one! The manager and late-night front desk clerk were all super friendly. They made darn sure that I was satisfied with my stay. They always had a smile and were there to help and assist with anything you might need to bother them for. They toured me around the top floor suite and took me down to the sauna. My business suite was perfect! The carpets looked brand new, the comforter on the bed looked new, the bathroom was spotless and my couch was so comfortable. Don't bother trying any other hotel in Kragujevac, Hotel Ema is the only...
Read moreHad the pleasure of staying 9 days at Hotel Ema with a team of athletes as part of a 20 day trip to Serbia. With over 30 in the group, it was a challenge, but, by far, the easiest part was choosing to stay at Ema. No request was too small, the staff were amazing, the food was excellent. Jovana, The Manager, was a fantastic point of contact for all our requests and her recommendation for our last night's dinner was perfect.||||I could probably write several pages, but, don't forget to check out the sauna. Everyone was sad to leave Hotel Ema. We loved all parts of our trip to Serbia, but, This phase of the trip was, by far, our favourite.||||Honestly, I don't write reviews, this is my first, but I felt compelled to let everyone on the...
