Fantastic solution to rest and refresh before a connecting flight. Super comfortable beds and pillows in what is generally a very clean modern room.
The rooms are quite small but just perfect for a single traveler or a couple simply wanting to sleep or shower. In our case (family of 5) it was a real stretch to fit into the room let alone sleep on the single queen bed, but we managed to make it work as we had no other choice since everywhere else seemed to be booked out, and YotelAir came to the rescue with a single available room which was really great for our long layover.
Whilst the room was clean, I have to agree with comments from other customers as well - there was minor mould in the corners of the shower that didn't bother us although isn't pleasing to look at - perhaps maintenance or housekeeping should take care of this before it gets out of hand?
Moving on; free bottled water, tooth brushes in the bathrooms, large screen TV on the wall, an onsite gym and a tea/coffee area - all complementary. The price is quite affordable too in my opinion and much better than nearby mainstream hotels which charge an arm and a leg for essentially the same service albeit a room double the size.
Welcoming and friendly customer service however communication needs to improve. When we initially did our booking and agreed to the terms, it was for 2 rooms to suit all 5 of us, however it was only after the booking was confirmed that they admitted (after we paid and queried the cheaper cost) that they only had one room left and that we had to manage. Whilst we adjusted to the circumstances and it was better than no accommodation at all, this should have been made very clear at the beginning whilst we were forming a decision as to whether this place was going to work for us or not. Some customers may not have been so flexible.
In any case; if you're looking for a comfortable place to just sleep or chill and refresh for a few hours, it's worth giving it a go. I'd stay here again for sure as the best part of this no frills experience was the super comfy beds which at the end of the day is all...

I stayed at Yotel Changi Airport twice this Summer. The first time was end of June, and the 2nd time was end of July.
Experience from the first visit was awesome. We arrived late, nothing is better than having a nice shower and a comfy bed after a long flight.
Room looks clean although it is small. It is very cute.
However, the 2nd visit in July was way disappointed.
cleanliness - Yotel color theme is purple and white, therefore, almost everything, other than the light in the room is WHITE. this is where the hotel should pay attention. First thing I encounter was BLACK FINGER PRINTS ON LIGHT SWITCH. we had 2 rooms, both had the same issue.... this gross me out. I had to use lysol wipes to clean it before touching it.
Silicone at shower base WAS BLACK. .. Gee... can't you guys bleach it???
Towel was torn! Come on, how hard is it to give some good towels.
Stain on pillows, I had to call for exchange...
Stain on shower curtains.... is it that difficult to change a new one??
THIS IS MOST TERRIFIED. COCKROACHES!!! we were going to enjoy sometime at the lounge, what FREAK ME OUT was there were Cockroaches came out under the coffee machine!! I am saying COCKROACHES... not a single.... but so many that I didn't want to see! couldn't let myself to take pictures but RUN.
I reported to the front desk.... I didn't see that lady was taken any action...
that was terrified 😨!
Further, as the room is small, one can easily see how the housekeeper change beds and clean the room cos the door needed to be opened for then to work...
I saw.... housekeeper needed to step on the bed... and walked around the side of bed with shoes in order to change the sheet.....
arghhhhh. I wished I didn't have the 2nd visit and had a good impression of this hotel....
I thought singapore has high cleanliness standard.... Yotel disappointed me on the last night I spent...
Read moreCleanliness needs attention. Flies found in the room crawling on bed. Mattress has sunk in with age. Request for extra towels will result in extra charges unless it's a once a day towel swap. There is NO space for your check in luggage. Carry on luggage still can be stowed on the narrow aisle between the bed and the door. As the photo shows, there is only standing space in the room. There is no food service/ room service and the mall at Jewel shuts down most of its food after 930pm. You have to walk to one of the Terminals if you are hungry. It's not a walk you want to take if you have limited time to rest. Check in at the hotel takes a long time as usually only one counter is operating. Don't rely on any information the staff give you about the airport or the mall, you had better verify it for yourself independently from more authoritative sources. Some guests leave their empty airport luggage trolley along the narrow corridor so if there is a fire and the emergency lights fail or smoke inhibits visibility, get ready to trip and fall over said trolley and languish there injured while awaiting impending doom.
One might consider the place expensive but let's fairly realise that all airport hotels are expensive without much value and Singapore is one of the most expensive cities in the world now; don't expect south east asian pricing.
Plus points would be, it's super quiet, there is 24hr free coffee and tea. No windows so aside from the red led light from the television, you get super pitch black darkness. Very good for deep sleep if not for the hopeless mattress. The staff are quite nice and they try to be helpful but they have to follow the operating rules set up by Yotel.
If you can look beyond all this, you will get some good sleep here instead of battling the cacophony of Changi at transit area/ airside while laying...
