Hotel Samaria — Hotel in Šamorín

A modern hotel with nice big comfy rooms BUT… a room costs over €100 and there was not even water offered at the room, no water kettle and cups for tea, nothing. Sheets on beds had multiple holes (?!) And few other things like no lift for luggage to 2nd floor.

But what we were really dissappointed about was the breakfast. Receptionist informed us that the restaurant has a different owner now but said that we still get breakfest there. There was no menu or buffet. For just a coffie and scrumbled eggs with a piece of bread (the only option available), to our surprise after breakfest we were suddenly asked to pay for it €18 (2 persons)! I don’t eat eggs (actually I am vegan) so I was proposed some cereals with milk and a crossaint after waiting 20-25 min to be even served. If we were informed that the breakfast is not in the price we could have go to get a much better and actually cheaper breakfast at a good caffe somewhere else. Not far away in a beautifull Cornus Caffe in Kvetoslavov, you will find a really good brekafast menu also vegan...

Most hilarious hotel stay ever! Don t stay here!

At checkin we asked for second room key. When we got up the stairs to second floor (no elevator existing) only one key worked. Back at the reception we were promised, that the next day we will get a second one. Next day an akward lady named Tatjana explained us that no hotel in the world offers a second key. She was jelling at us for minutes, that we can leave if we don t like it. As a solution she offered, that my girlfriend can walk up to second floor, open the room, leave it open, get bavk down to reception and leave there the key until I arrive. Need to mention, that reception isn t occupied after 6 pm. So anyone could grab the key. Bathroom has mold all over. Door to bathroom cannot be closed, as it doesn t fit...

What was not good:

Amenities are missing, the ones that are offered are like samples, you scissors to open. So bring your own shampoo/shower or buy in the nearby super market. Pipes are not working properly. Every time that I push cauldron ("niagara") in other words, "water" came over the floor. Situation comes dangerous (slippery) and of course unhealthy. Once I asked 3 times (started as of early morning) all the day to have an extra toilet paper .. Finally in the night, I came down again in the reception for an extra one. I thought that it costs nothing to have a second one in the WC.

What was good: Location is nice, room is spacious but there are many thing to improve there. Parking place is in front of hotel and is you can easily...
