Penzión Jarka — Hotel in Bratislava

I think it was a very nice experience to stay at pension Zarka. It is a lot of value for your money. It's very reasonably priced. You get a nice room with tv and a good working AC. There's a very good bus connection. The buses pass by every 10 minutes and it takes you about 10 minutes to get you to the city center. Only drawback is that the first time to arrive is a little bit difficult to find the pension via Google maps, because there is a narrow path almost invisible left below the bridge that brings you to the pension. Furthermore, the staff is friendly, but professional and no-nonsense and they don't mind helping out the guests... I had a ton of clothes to be washed and even though the washing machine was doing overtime, staff managed to let me wash my clothes immediately (washed and dried within 1,5 hours!).... so all in all a very nice stay with very...

Bad and dirty rooms, old and dirty toilets, uncomfortable mattresses, windows without blinds and at sunrise at 5 AM you were already awake. Poor breakfast food. Extremely unfriendly and rude staff. Before the stay we had asked via email to Booking a safe place to store bicycles. We had been guaranteed that we could keep them in the room. Once we arrived at the place we were forbidden to keep the bikes in the room and we were forced to leave them in the car. I found this hotel to be a very nice stay, very clean, good sized room, and the bathroom was nice as well. I personally didn't try the breakfast as I tend to skip it so can't comment on that I'm afraid, I can say however that the staff were very nice and I don't have any downsides besides the distance from the centre.
