Hotel Glamor — Hotel in Kaluža

The room was very nice and clean, bathroom too with huge shower space and beds were very comfortable. The equipment in the room could be better, at least I expected more from a 4 star hotel, e.g. I was missing a kettle for tea or coffee. I had to go to reception to ask for tea, which cost extra and I received the tea in a teapot with a cup that were both so dusty, that I think they were sitting on the counter at reception for a month. The elevator is very slow, if you are not going with luggage, use stairs. Balcony was full of bugs (true bugs, bzdochy in Slovak), thankfully it was so cold at the time of the stay so I didn't have the need of using the balcony. On both nights of stay there was a wedding downstairs, I didn't hear anything, so that was not bothering, but I wanted to use the wellness area and I was told that wellness is closed, otherwise it would in combination with the wedding kill the power switch in the hotel. Also because of weddings I was not able to have dinner in the hotel, even though at reception at check-in I was told that it will be possible but only in limited time and with limited options which as I found out later was not true. Willingness of the receptionist of recommending another restaurant was inadequate - she was not able to tell me where I can eat nor how to get there. In the end I had to google restaurants, call there if they are opened and call myself a taxi which cost me 10 euros (one way). Breakfast was okay. I was satisfied with the room, but I am pointing out smaller or bigger flaws, which I would expect not to happen in a quite expensive...

Bardzo ciekawy hotel, który wybraliśmy na przystanek w podróży z Bułgarii. Hotel mieści się bezpośrednio przy Siravie. Pierwsze wrażenie jest takie jak się patrzy na bryle, że niektóre domy mają ciekawszą elewację. Zarówno pod względem projektu jak i zastosowanych materiałów. Ale zaręczam liczy się wnętrze. Minusem na dzień dobry są dwie rzeczy - schody przed wejściem i brak automatycznych drzwi frontowych. I jedno i drugie nie ułatwia gdy ma się duży bagaż ze soba. I trzecia sprawa. Winda na którą czeka się wiekami. Sam pokój jest bardzo bardzo duży. Jest to pojedynczy pokój z łazienką ale porównując go z innymi pokojami tego typu jest on po prostu dwa razy większy. To samo dotyczy łazienki. Jest ona duża, z ogromnym natryskiem, z szerokim wejściem. Materace sa wystarczająco twarde i łóżka mają odpowiednią wysokość aby być wygodnymi. Ergonomia na plus. Za hotelem jest basen i plaża. Z leżakami. Oraz barem. Wszystko uporządkowane jak w szwajcarskim zegarku. Jest też plac zabaw. Pod drzewami, zacieniony. Piękna sprawa. Sam plac zabaw jest raczej dla moim zdaniem 3-4 latków. Reszta będzie się nudzić. Basen jest strzeżony. 1,1 m głębokości dla zaawansowanych pływaków oraz 0,4 dla tych taplających się. Plaża też jest, z grodzonym kąpieliskiem. No poezja z tą wodą. Restauracja z widokiem na Zalew, jakaś duszna taka. Ale widok zacny. Obsługa ucząca się. Musisz mieć cierpliwości. Wogóle musisz mieć cierpliwość do języka innego niż słowacki. Ale w sumie jedziesz na Słowację to ucz się człowieku :) Jedzenie restauracyjne fastfoodowe ale przygotowywane na bieżąco. Dlatego też musisz mieć cierpliwość. Śniadania to porządna średnia półka, nie ma w nich niż wyróżniającego się. Generalnie wielu gości wybiera tam pobyt na dłużej. Jest dużo rodzin z dziećmi. My byliśmy przejazdem na jedną noc. Jest spoko. Polecam. Ps. Zieleń mega zadbana w hotelu. Ktoś się przyłożył i do projektu i do utrzymania. Kącik dla dzieci duży ale wyposażenie mocno zamortyzowane ;) no i sam hotel wewnątrz ładnie urządzony, czyściutki i pachnący. Igła. Zauważyłem też ogolno dostępne boisko do...

We spent only 1 night in the hotel (arrival, wedding guests - dinner & party, sleep, departure) - quite short time, nevertheless we enjoyed. Hotel is located on the coast of lake (very famous) - our room has a view on this lake and despite it was the autumn already sky was blue, sun shinning and the view was beautiful. Furniture in the room was fine, TV set offered a lot of channels, balcony was large enough. Breakfast served as a buffet. Staff behaved nicely. Free wi-fi in the whole building.
