Penzion Bernardín — Hotel in Stará Lesná

I encountered really bad experience with this place. We were choosing between various options for our school trip and we chose this one mainly for the promised sauna, bar and table pool that we wanted to use. We didn't mind to pay a little extra because of that luxuries. Sadly, we were locked out from these things. The owner said that the sauna does not work for few years now. I don't really understand why he has that written on his page except maybe he want to artificially attract customers to his below-average guest house. He also locked the bar and the table pool and also was really rude when we wanted to negotiate with him about this. I'm really disgusted with this kind of approach from the owner. Furthermore, anything you do in the lobby, is monitored by CCTV camera and you're being watched all day long.

Anyways, the accomodation was ok, but too pricy I'd say. There wasn't even a firewood prepared! If you wanted to stay alive and not freeze to death during the night, you would have to go outside and chop some firewood by yourself.

So I'm only giving 2/5 (and I think I'm being really generous with this).

If you want average accommodation for higher price, go on. Otherwise I would not recommend this in any way to nobody. Search for...

It was a pleasant stay with nice rooms and apartments had three bedrooms, one large hall and small 2x2 meters kitchen. Checkin has to be made in different village so plan ahead. It has a large social area with fireplace. The access to rooms is a little complicated through...

Penzión pre nenáročného klienta !!! Parkovanie vo dvore k dispozícii, kde je potrebné branu pri vstupe manuálne otvoriť - zavrieť ! Pozor ! není tú ani recepcia, ani reštaurácia . Pokiaľ si zakúpite polpenziu (čo je k dispozícii)musite sa presúvať na raňajky a večere do cez 2 km vzdialeného penziónu Palušak. Tam je aj recepcia. Pozor!!!musíte mať hotovosť, nemajú totiž terminál pre platbu kartou. Typ izby v podkroví bez kuchyňe,bez chladničky ... ta chladnička by mohla byť k dispozícii ,ale žiaľ ... v horúcich dňoch veľmi dusno čiže bez klímy. Na poschodí miestnosť na posedenie zo stolom, kreslami kde si hostia užívajú pri poháriku aj do rána takže na pokojný spánok môžete zabudnúť. Na chodbe je počuť každý krok...no, ešte že iba 2 nocí...ale zase je v blízkosti lanovky Tatranskéj Lomnice a jedlo bolo...
