Penzión Sagan — Hotel in Terchová

We stayed here last week for 6 nights. Amazing area, great location for a hiking holiday. Andrea and Martin were great hosts, we got quick support even with a locked-in key in the car trunk! Our nice room was in a house 150m away from the main building, newly and properly renovated, with a well equipped kitchenette. We were very grateful for the steel boot wash and for the electric boot warmer at the entrance!! Unfortunately, we had a poor experience here. The place and the "pension" is nice and comfortable, the staff is friendly and the restaurant is OK. However, there was a very loud party in a place across the street from 7PM to 12AM and we kept receiving most of the noise in our apartment. The staff nor Mr Sagan did not seem to have done anything to restore silence (especially after 10PM), neither did they warn us that a party was (possibly) upcoming (although apparently they were aware of the group next doors and we understood that this was also a long term issue). When we requested a discount, Mr Sagan threatened to call the police unless we paid the full amount. We thought that the owners' communication and their response to our queries was very disappointing.

Žiaľ, nemali sme dobrú skúsenosť. Penzión je pekný a izby sú čisté a pohodlné, personál je priateľský a reštaurácia je OK. Problém bol, že od 19.00 do cca polnoci v dome naproti prebiehala hlučná zábava/party s DJom a uzavretou spoločnosťou, do nášho apartmánu sa tak dostával takmer všetok hluk, basy, hurhaj, atd. Personál ani pán Sagan osobne vec vôbec neriešili, ani ani po našich opakovaných sťažnostiach - a to ani po 22.00, keď má byť nočný kľud (ponúkli, že zavolajú políciu, ale že inak s tým nevedia nič urobiť) a ani nás vopred neinformovali, že je reálna možnosť, že takáto situácia vznikne (napriek tomu, že vedeli o uzavretej spoločnosti, vedeli, že tam rovnaká oslava bola údajne aj deň predtým, aj že šlo o známych a problematických susedov). Keď sme namietali, že chceme aspoň zľavu z ubytovania, pán Sagan okamžite pohrozil, že na nás (!!) zavolá políciu, ak nezaplatíme plnú cenu. Podľa mňa žiaľ nevhodné a neprimerané chovanie a komunikácia zo strany...

A very nice apartment in a lovely village close to the hills and nature. ||The service is excellent, the foods are very good, the room is clean and all the things are good quality. Not a five star hotel but more than what you expect from a place in the nature.||The location of the apartment house is perfect. The forest is very close, just a few minutes of walk.
