Bled Paradise Apartments — Hotel in Bled

So I booked the hostel knowing already that it was 30min walking to Bled lake and that it was a 12 bed-dorm.

But they are definitely some big négative points to the place that in the end is not backpacker friendly AT ALL

it's not mentioned but it's self checkin so you better have some data to call the owner so that he can explain to you how to enter, I don't know how I could have entered otherwise because I would have hated having to pay for the call the beds we're really really squeaky and unstable so you can imagine how bad you sleep when 12 people sometimes need to go to the bathroom at night only one bathroom that includes the toilet IN the room, again really really noisy during the night and not convenient at all when you're 12, one is taking a long shower and you need to use the toilet the place's washing machine and dryer are in this particular bathroom so I've seen staff coming late at 10pm and early at 7:30am to clean the laundry no fridge but especially not even a kettle, as the place is far from markets and restaurants it's hard to eat when staying there not possible to leave my backpack for 2 hours longer after checkout, I was asked to leave it in the open garage where anyone could just take it

And now the two WORST things:

the first night around 10pm when everyone was falling asleep, a teenager came into the room, switched on the light and asked for the passeports to check-in. He didn't even apologize at first. And when we complained that it's no time to come like this for passeports and asking him why now, he just answered "I don't know" I was asked to pay taxes for the two nights in cash, even though I prepaid the room and NOTHING was mentioned about extra fees. I checked later and on my receipt it said that the taxes were ALREADY INCLUDED in the amount I paid. When texting the owner he didn't agree and said that it's just extra taxes even though it's illegal to ask for when it's not mentioned prior.

I won't recommend this hostel at all, it's a weird and not safe place for...

Guys, this is not Paradise Hostel this is Hell Hostel. Do yourself a favour and don’t book any room here. First when we entered the impression was very good- new bathroom all good, but during the night we realised that there is a bedbug pandemic. We already have booked for 3 nights and we tried to call the owner- Spela. Guys, I am telling you this woman is insane, even the bedbugs are not an issue in comparison with her:( she did not answer the phone, she did not provided any solution. In the morning she came to me directly asked for the city tax- and when we said that there are bigger issues than paying this city tax she started screaming at me, she said that she will call the police, but she was screaming so bad at me- that I can confirm that this never ever have happened in my life before. AVOID AT ALL COST!!! The place is full with bed bugs. We tried to comunicate the problem with the host but she was very aggressive and rude. She refused to believe that the place is a home of a large population of bed bugs as you can see on the picture. I personally killed few more. There were several people in the hostel with us, some of them had a tents and were forced to use them, other changed the hostel and we slept at the lobby just to be safe for the night. The owner is incredibly rude and bad person, she is trying to avoid negative comments regarding this issue instead of taking care of it.
