Pension Bled — Hotel in Bled

A wonderful peaceful location — you’ll find Pension Bled.||Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the owner.|The rooms are beautifully designed — stylish, modern, and equipped with everything you could need, including efficient air conditioning.|The bathroom is spacious and fully fitted with all the essentials. Parking is conveniently available right in front of the pension.||Breakfast is served in a charming downstairs room where you really feel the character and atmosphere of Slovenia. The buffet is generous and carefully prepared, and eggs and bacon can be cooked to order. Owner himself takes care of coffee, tea, and egg service, ensuring you’re always well looked after.||Another lovely surprise is the beautiful garden at the back. We immediately had a warm, positive feeling throughout our stay. Slovenia truly embraced us here.||If you plan to explore the region, don’t hesitate to book a few nights. Ljubljana is only about a 1.5-hour drive away, and Lake Bohinj around 30 minutes. We had never been to Bled or Slovenia before so were unsure of what to expect! However on checking into Pension Bled we knew we had found something special! It is so peaceful with a stunning view of the mountains! ||||Although it’s situated 1.5 kms from Lake Bled it’s only a short cycle to the centre along designated cycle paths. Bikes can be rented from the property.||||The breakfasts were fresh and a great selection! Couldn’t fault them!|| ||The host, Nejc, was very knowledgeable about the area and gave us some great tips which you may not find in a travel guide such as catching the train back from Most Na Soci through the mountains! ||||We would not hesitate to recommend Pension Bled to others! It really is a great base to explore the area! The pool at the property and the spa were very welcome too although we didn’t get much chance to use them as too much to do! Our stay at Pension Bled was great. The host welcomed us and answered us any questions we had about Bled and gave us recommendations on what to explore. He also had bikes we could borrow, which made exploring the area way more enjoyable.

The room was tidy, clean, had good airconditioning and there was a cute towel-origami-heart on the bed waiting for us.

We especially enjoyed the pool and the fridge that was well stocked with beers, sodas and wines for a very reasonable price.

The breakfast was very very good as well. As we came down into the dining room the host asked us how we liked our coffee and our eggs. Within minutes we were drinking a nice cappuccino and were having fried and scrambled eggs, and there is a buffet setup with all kinds of breakfast foods.
