5/5 - Exceptional Glamping Experience!

This glamping site surpassed all expectations. The hosts were extraordinary - attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the area. They provided excellent recommendations for local restaurants, scenic walks, bike routes and eateries which definitely enhanced our stay.

The site itself was impeccable and the location in my opinion would be impossible to top. The accommodation was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. Breakfast was delicious and included local produce (loved the fresh eggs, Bovec cheese and breads). There were countless extra touches like the hammock and the jacuzzi which was a luxurious treat after long days of exploration.

Evenings were magical with stunning sunsets followed by stargazing opportunities. The hosts' thoughtfulness extended to every detail, making us feel more like cherished friends than guests by the end of our stay.

For those considering booking: don't hesitate. Especially if you've camped before, 'cos this is next level! This place offers the perfect blend of comfort, nature, and personalised experience. It's ideal for both relaxation seekers and adventure enthusiasts. Monica & David's warm hospitality and local insights elevate this from a simple stay to an unforgettable holiday. We're already planning a...

As a family of 4 the tent was spacious and clean inside, I understand the marks on the outside are caused by weathering and it’s a manufacturing fault. Beds were comfortable and the hosts very helpful and informative. The breakfast was hit and miss we often missed the eggs, seemed to be one for everyone who was staying, I can understand they want to avoid waste but we paid for breakfast. Also the toilets being 2ft. from people brushing their teeth wasn’t ideal. 2 showers and 2 toilets (for men) in a very tight space and everyone wants to use the facilities obviously at the same time. Also you should be a fan of cats as they live in site and enter freely into the tents, not great as we are allergic. The shared kitchen is used by people constantly by campers, most of whom bring half of their own kitchen from home. The location is good for a dip in the river and hiking. The camp fire is very small but good for cooking marsh mellows😋 There was one night some people were walking around shining a torch into our tent late at night, not ideal with small kids present. It should be noted there is only one restaurant open till 21.30 in a walkable distance. The hot tub is also a treat after a long hike. All in all I felt it was not worth the...

I heartily recommend staying with Monika and David (and Kim!) at their locally owned and operated Glamping site. Their luxury camping experience was spacious for two, clean, cozy, and had all the amenities you need to enjoy sleeping under the stars in the Soca River valley. They are centrally located in the valley, close to restaurants, grocery stores, and the vibrant town of Bovecs.

Visiting in early September gave us perfect weather to explore the mountains and cool off by the river. David arranged a local company to drop off bikes to our site and took the time to map out a trail ride for us to explore. Monika answered all our questions and had great suggestions on hikes. If you get a chance, visit Krn Lake, it was a stunning alpine hike.

As experienced campers from British Columbia this was a dream vacation. Monika and David are so warm and genuine, they made us feel exceptionally welcome. Peak season (July/August) activities are in high demand, plan your days in advance if you can.

10/10 we recommend this spot to all our friends. Thank you Monika, David and Kim! We will never forget our time at...

I warmly recommend staying here! Both hosts of the campsite are really open, kind and caring. They’ve lots of ideas and are glad to help you with finding activities to do around the area. It’s always nice to have a chat with Monika and David, they have a great humor. :) Also, I haven’t seen such a well equipped campsite in a long time. You can use an amazing kitchen, even the refrigerators. Plus, you can relax in a Jacuzzi and Hammocks and have an amazing view to the mountains. You can even wash your clothes if you need to. Also if you want to, you’re able to get to chat with other guests, which is super fun because the campsite isn’t huge. We sadly just stayed for 4 nights. I wish we would’ve stayed longer. We had a really great time and have to come back! There’s a lot to see and to do in the area, I miss it already. Next time we find the hidden cable car :) All best wishes to the best campsite I’ve been so far!
