Family owned, quiet, relaxed and helpful site, for us, the extra highlight was the kitchen and the tables. Enough charging ports for devices if you need that. The owners do just about everything around the camp, which means you might have to wait sometimes. Showers, sinks, toilets OK, clean. We had tents this time, surface OK, easy to pin. Playground looked quite popular among kids. One very good thing is that there is a field where you can setup your place really far from the center of the camp if you need more privacy and silence. Note that the camp is not fenced, the lower part is connected to the Kobarid marsh and the town by a footpath, about 2km, nice except heavy rains when big puddles are formed as we experienced. The entrance is via a short but narrow gravel road which may require some attention for campers and caravans but nothing extraordinary. Something for tent users, there are lights around that are always on during the night, so plan with that if you like to sleep in dark.
We will come back for sure, thanks Ivan for helping us out with...
Read moreI have stayed at the this campsite twice in the last two years, and I enjoyed it both times.
The location is in a beautiful valley with a view of the mountains. It is within walking distance to Kobarid, but you don't have to go into town if you don't want to. The restaurant was great. The croissants in the morning were the highlight. The service was friendly and welcoming.
The first campsite I had was pretty good. It didn't have a view, but it was comfortable for a pitch site, located at the back of the field. The second site I had was awesome. It was more private, located directly next to the restrooms/restaurant, backed by beautiful trees with a view of the mountains. It was awesome.
The bathrooms are clean and well-kept. My friend was jaw dropped at how nicely maintained they were.
It was an amazing way to visit Soča Valley both times. We weren't in camp most of the day, we had great access to all of the amazing sites. The price was reasonable, especially because both times we walked up without a reservation.

Read moreAbsolutely beautiful campground with excellent prices for camping, food, and drinks. Great coffee as well. The owners and staff are friendly and helpful. Easy and short walk to Kobarid. Very safe. We camped for 4 nights in a tent and for 2 nights in the hostel. We had a lovely flat private pitch that was easy to find on the large property with lots of trees. The dorm beds were also very comfortable and quiet. The common area has very comfortable tables with cushions on benches which is great after a long hiking day. Lots of outlets for charging devices. Laundry facilities and very clean and plentiful WCs and showers. We tried the frika, the pizza, and the breakfast and all were plentiful and tasty. There is a soccer field and playground and we enjoyed watching Tadej Podačer win Stage 6 in the Tour de France 2023 at camp! The locals enjoy coming to this place so you know it’s great! We just can’t say enough about how fantastic our stay was and we will be back next time we...
