Nice and calm place near town centre,where you can find all info about tourist atractions and site seeing. since kobarid/karfreit/caporetto is very small pre alpine town it takes you only 5min walking to allmost any of several sport agencies in the centre.. 1ww museum(kobariški muzej) is in the vicinity(next to football stadium),italian ossuary is set on the small hill just above town itself to which u can go either on foot(10-20min uphill) or with a car(2min)

I would highly recomend (if u r interested in history that is) TONOCOV GRAD... its an ancient settlement used by many different nations throughout the history( theres also a presentation and a timeline in the 1w war museum of kobarid) and its situated just above and behind italian ossuary(small hill with interesting architecture arround the church,which is visible from any place from kobarid) There are 2 paths leading up : one straight from italian ossuary and the other one from the northern side(main road from bovec to kobarid) over there a road sign with a parking lot will let u know that u r underneath the site.. Enyoj...its a relaxsing walk through the forest And offcourse...when in rome.... One must definetelly go to SOČA river,at least to take your shoes of and dip your feet in,especially in the summer when its 35°c & 90% of humidity :) ;) Wellcome to...

Cel Kobarid je nekaj posebnega, nekaj mističnega. Na tem prostoru so divjale vojne vihre, razne poti so se križale še v tisočletjih nazaj. Vsakič znova, ko pridem v ta kraj dobim neko posebno energijo - voljo do življenja, hrepenenje, da bi poletela viz enega hriba na drug. Lokalčki, bari, restavracije kar tekmujejo med seboj kdo bo boljši. Zelo pa prednjači Bar Gotar Barbara. Ja zakaj? Na majhnem prostoru je mali vrt med katerim je nekaj miz s stoli, ki se kar zlijejo poleti z rožicami. Mimogred si postrežen, vedno lepa beseda, nevsiljiv pogovor in veliko informacij in zanimivosti, ki se tukaj dogajajo. Ob lepem sončnem vremenu bi kar ostal tukaj, zelo...

Ein wunderbarer Ort, der mit sehr viel Liebe von Barbara betrieben wird.

Wir haben uns im Garden House sehr wohlgefühlt und es bietet alles, was man braucht (sogar Regenschirme und einen Wäscheständer!). Der Supermarkt ist direkt gegenüber und dank der perfekt ausgestatteten Küche kann man somit wunderbar kochen und den Garten genießen. Ansonsten bieten sich direkt nebenan auch ein paar Restaurants.

Die Parksituation war einfach: entweder direkt vor dem Haus mit Parkscheibe (2h) oder wenige Gehminuten entfernt ganz kostenfrei.
