GARAGE HOSTEL SOLKAN — Hotel in Nova Gorica

Thankyou Nika for building such a quality hostel. We are two Australians travelling by bicycle and we appreciated the secure lock up for our bikes. The room was spacious, comfortable, had plants! And good lockers, power points too. The bathrooms are clean and modern and I love the encouraging words on the mirrors. Fabulous kitchen and lounge area too. We followed your advice and ate a beautiful traditional Italian meal, visited an agro tourism farm for lunch, the white horses in Lipsic too. Best hostel...

Incredibly wonderful place. Close to hiking routes, museums, bus station, supermarket. Wonderful owner Nika is always there to welcome you and make you feel at home. Great kitchen with all facilities. Very very comfortable beds.

You also can chill with other people in the hostel in the common area which was a highlight of my stay.

I was intending to stay only one night on my bike tour, but it was so wonderful that I ended up staying 3 days.

A wonderful hostel! Had everything you need for a pleasant stay! We were recommended a lot of things by Nika and enjoyed being so close to the river. The city Centre of Nova Gorica is a 15 minute walk away, which might not be perfect for everyone but you can also rent bikes in the city which makes getting around a lot easier.
