Garni Hotel Zvon — Hotel in Zreče

My family (2 adults and 2 children) stayed there for a weekend. The hotel is on a good location in a smal town of Zreče, near the Thermal Spa and the swimming pools (in a short walking distance). Also there is a smal children playground and nothing much to do besides that in the town. If you like walking you can go to near by Rogla (aprox. 20 min by car), which is a mountin resort (with lots of ski slopes in in the winter) and trekking in summer.||It is a family owned hotel, nicely furbished. We stayed in an appartment no. 1, which is in the basement with easy access from behind of the hotel. It had one spacious bedroom, a living room with a small kitchen and a sofa for accomodating 2 people. There is also a spacious bathroom with a bathtub. It is quite clean and nice. Maybe for our taste the beds were too soft and sofa a bit to small.||We also had a breakfast, which was in a small dining room, with a couple of tabels (since it is a small hotel, there were only a few taken). They offer continental breakfast and can also bake you an egg. So very basic food, but enough to eat. We booked two nights so we could spend a day in spa nearby. The hotel is basic. Room is quite big, linen fresh, one bed is actually two beds pushed together (not comfy for couples). Rugs and walls are not very clean, probably due to skiing season and people coming here with all equipment. There is wifi and a small tv, bathroom also basic. A small minibar with reasonable price and the overall price of the room is reasonable.|Breakfast continental and the lady very friendly. There should be no smoking but te second night the whole floor smelled of cigaretts, I told that to reception and they didn't care, and I also didn't like all the messages everywhere that say if you damage this you have to pay, if you stay longer you have to pay etc. Kinda feels you are not welcome.
