View 16 — Hotel in Camps Bay

We had an incredible stay at this villa in one of the most sought-after areas in Cape Town! The location is unbeatable, with stunning ocean views and sunsets that felt magical every evening. The unit is modern, stylish, and very comfortable, with a nice swimming pool – everything you could hope for in a holiday stay. Rooms are pretty bad. Our bathroom cupboards doors are broken off the hinge. Accommodation clearly says we will have a washing machine and we don’t. Our extra bedroom is an old court yard that has all the old plumbing pipes on the wall and the roof is glass with a dingy cover over it. Our unit has an extra door that goes to who knows where. Thankfully locked but still concerning as we don’t have a key to see where it goes and who can come into our unit at night when we sleep. Gardens outside are poorly unmanaged.

Would not stay again...

This was my third time staying at View 16 in Camps Bay, and once again it was absolutely perfect. The apartment is the ideal base to explore Cape Town and its surroundings. It offers an incredible view and feels like a true oasis of peace, yet it’s just a short distance from the vibrant energy of Camps Bay and Cape Town. The apartment is always spotless, beautifully equipped, and truly deserves a five out of five. On top of that, the host is very communicative and makes everything smooth and easy.
