Pond End Villa — Hotel in Dihlabeng Local Municipality

Good: Modern. Clean and neat. Simple but well-furnished. Nice underfloor heating. Good service. Nice routes to walk on around the estate.

Cons: No trails up the mountain from the estate. Not much to do on estate other than walking and golfing. The pond in front of the villa was entirely empty and was overgrown with black-jack bushes, which detracted from the view. The unit's TV remote was broken. Winter in Clarens is notoriously cold but at the Pond's End it was cosy. Booked in as a couple and we found all of the little things that make a stay easy in place. Rooms were warmed as were the beds; underfloor heating and electric blankets at work. Booked with my in-laws and must say this place was perfect. Couldn't not be faulted at all. Ultra Modern,cleanliness gave a sense of peace and really was the cherry on the top. Rooms were all en suite and each bathroom was spotless. The appliances in the kitchen was first class. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone at anytime.
