We arrived and were allocated the Flemish room with a lovely verandah and outlook over the mountains and city.|We met Katherine and her team and they couldn't have been more welcoming and accomodating. The pool is lovely with such a position and 10 quality and comfortable sunbeds for the 5 rooms in the guest house. The water was warm and fed from the waterfall on Paarl rocks just beyond the hill. Everyone staying here were so relaxed and friendly and we soon met new friends and have many interesting conversations. |Breakfast was served on the patio and was a basic choice of cold items or bacon and egg option. |Just to note the location is on a hillside and the road up to it is steep and not really suitable to walk. We had a small car but Ubers were easy to get for trips into Paarl in the evening. It's worth pre booking a return Uber as it was busy at 10pm when we were returning and it's worth the little bit extra for a reserved car. |We recommend a visit to Parle du cap and will be returning...
Read moreMy wife and I stayed at Perle-du-Cap to celebrate NYEve 2024/25 for 4 nights. The rooms were fresh and adorned lovingly. A large bathroom with shower and bath, double sinks. The main area was also large, sumptuously decorated, had the addition of a refrigerator and wardrobe. We also appreciated the stunning views from our balcony. The infinity pool had spectacular views of the mountains. One day we spent the entire day just lounging at the pool and taking in the breathtaking views. Breakfast was served with great care and personal touches including eggs the way you like them, bacon, 4 gourmet cheeses, numerous high-quality cold cuts, and fruit salad with yogurt. Kristien (the owner and host) could not have been more kind looking after us. Our gluten-free request was no trouble at all and we appreciated the many options they made available to us. Photo included is view from the...
Read moreThis luxury accommodation is excellent in every way. My husband and I stayed for 4 nights in November '24 and felt so welcomed by Kristien and her staff every day we were there. The location is above Paarl with beautiful views, a very tranquil and superbly maintained garden with the infinity pool and loungers and each room has chairs outside to enjoy the view. The breakfast is varied and delicious and we mustn't forget the adorable family cats who we enjoyed socialising with! We will be back as it is a haven away from the hectic hussle and bussle of life. Thank you...
