Normally food and service good.I was badly treated by a worker,Linden Paulse.He was utterly rude and aggressive towards me.On the first occasion I let it slide but it happened again and I'm utterly disgusted with his works ethics.I do understand that he does not represent the company or this branch in Paarl but I need to bring this under the attention of management and the broader clientel base. It’s your typical local pub vibe with regulars hanging around the bar. The service was a bit slow. My husband ordered coffee and I ordered a hot chocolate (yes, at a pub restaurant, but it was a rainy cold day). He had two sips left of his coffee before I even got my hot chocolate. Even his Coke he ordered later took a long time and we were sitting in the pub area right where the Coke was in the fridge. Despite the service, I was still a very happy lady. A pub lunch in the true sense of the word😃 if you dont like sports and beer and smoking , you might not enjoy a Gecko meal, but if if you dont mind a mild smoking smell in the non smoking area, this is bliss. Intersing decor, cool pics, Service was amazing!, clear view of the sports screen and the volume was good , not too loud, but clear enough to follow the game commentary effortlessly.
