Highlands Lodge, Aurora — Hotel in Durbanville

We celebrated our dad's 90th Birthday party at Highlands Lodge. The venue was spacious and the staff were welcoming and always eager to help with anything. There was a fire in the entertaining area and outside was a covered area protected from the rain. The photos were taken in the beautiful garden. The family stayed overnight in the accommodation. The rooms were spacious and beautifully decorated and there was tea and coffee facilities. The bathroom was out of a House and Home magazine, beautifully tiled and had a spacious shower. We had breakfast together the next morning, where there was a most delicious feast. They even catered for our Vegan and Gluten free family members. We had a wonderful time staying at Highlands Lodge The staff was friendly and visible. Our room is clearly designed to be wheelchair friendly, but confirm with the staff. For warmer days there are a swimmingpool and a relaxing shaded outside area. The garden is lovely maintained. The room have both a little fridge and a microwave with cutlery. The wifi signal is very strong and there is functional plugs all over the room. We did not even noticed when the power went off during loadshedding. I am not to sure if there is a grocery store close by, but the Tygervallei shopping mall is about 6km away. We had a good stay for a competitive price and I can recommend this...

What a fubulous slice of paradise Highlands Lodge is! Stepping onto the property, you do in fact feel more as if you are in a lodge than a guest house. The lush garden is filled with beautiful bird life, and the atmosphere is so peaceful. The luxurious rooms with beautiful finishes are immaculate and all lead onto the beautiful garden.
