Hoylake Inn — Hotel in Eastern Cape

Website mentions bed and breakfast. Please note breakfast is not included in the price. It is advertised as self-catering. There is no stove or hot plate and no cooking utensils. Minimal cutlery and crockery, not even a wine glass. The walls in-between rooms are dry walling, very noisy. Website encourages you to book direct, there are better prices offered through some of the booking agencies. We were given one small and old bath towel. I stayed over at Hoylake Inn for the weekend. What a breath of fresh air! After all the hotels and hotel rooms I've stayed in, this was something completely different. The rooms were individual, with different themes and colours for each unit. Every room was equipped with ensuite bathroom, DSTV decoder, aircon and kitchenette, with free wireless Internet in all areas. And the full English breakfast was just that! FULL! The works!! A great experience all round....

What a beautiful place! ||The room was well made up and had all the comforts of our home. The stunning views from our balcony helped us unwind whilst sipping on our coffee. We loved looking out over the tropical gardens and watching the birdlife, with the sounds and sights of the ocean just a short distance from us.
