I received an automated message supposedly from Peace Cottage stating it was a pleasure hosting us at Peace Cottage. It could not have been a pleasure as I did not stay at Peace Cottage. I was involved in a vehicle incident, and my vehicle had to be towed, so never got to Peace cottage. I did call Peace Cottage and explained to them re the accident and that I would not be there. I unfortunately still had to pay for the accommodation that was never used which I understand in a way. However being a regular guest having stayed at Peace Cottage numerous times before I would have thought there might have been some leniency re the payment, but this was not to be.||||The false automated message I received stating it was a pleasure hosting us, when we were never there, is so wrong, especially from a small service related accommodation business, which really should be fostering good...

This accommodation was booked for us. We were pleased with their choice. Dina was super friendly in helping us find our room and made sure we had what we needed. It is immaculate. 5 stars for cleanliness. Towels- body, hand and face cloth. Big fluffy shower mat. Our room has a duel shower. 3 stars because the one sprayed water as no door, and the other had a faulty sprayer, but not an unpleasant shower either. Water is very hot.
Only one rechargeable light for loadshedding, two would have been helpful.

Such a great place. Such a great host. The best self service cottage we stayed at in South Africa. Open fireplace, hot chocolate and lovely biscuits made our stay perfect. Really comfortable bed as well. The host is a really great guy!
