Huis Afrika — Hotel in Emfuleni Local Municipality

It was an absolute delight staying at Huis Afrika. I made a last minute booking after having being disappointed by another service provider. I received immediate help from a friendly and warm-hearted host. The flatlet was impeccably clean, with very comfortable beds and it had all the material i.e utensils that we needed. The pool looked very inviting, but unfortunately we didn't get the chance to dive in due to time constraints. The reception from the owner was warm and friendly. The property is well kept and clean and welcoming. Our accommodation was perfect. The rooms were neat, the beds were comfortable and we had a tea/coffee tray in each room for a morning treat. The rooms accomodated us and our 2 children with ease and lots of space. It was definitely the price worth and I recommend it for anyone looking to only sleep over as our unit is not self-catering, but that is exactly what we needed. The welcoming was not so great as a host I’d expect you to be more welcoming. Fast forward we were asked to lower our music even though we don’t stay on the premises 24/7 we leave early at 8 and return back at 10pm when asked the other residents of the message they reported they did not recieve any type of message like that , it felt a bit prejudice.

The location is great though. But the lack of service as guests really turned as down big time!!!!!!!! The only thing that was friendly was their dog (pit bull)! Pls do...
