We had to go to Postmasburg on short notice to do a broken down vehicle recovery.||Kuruman was the obvious choice for a sleep over. Booked on very short notice. Sharon the receptionist was more than helpful and i explained our parking needs for the night. She told me not to worry, they can accommodate us. Phoning back 2 times more to make sure that our requirements will be met Sharon assured me that they will.||||When arriving at the Hotel Sharon showed us a perfect parking spot for our vehicle and trailer. We were dumb founded by her and the other staff members friendliness and willingness to help. Our room was great!||||The next morning one of the staff members told me that there was a flat wheel on our vehicle. After coffee i started to get the tools out to change the wheel. To my amazement the Chef and trainee chef popped up out of the blue and took matters in their own hands. Tumelo and Thabiso made quick work of changing the flat. I was highly impressed by the Hotels team and decided to stay another night.||||We left to Postmasburg to collect the vehicle and upon our return Sharon directed me to the perfect parking spot for both our vehicle and trailer. ||||I am very impressed and can recommend Kuruman Hotel to anybody.||||Well done Kuruman Hotel, your staff is a valuable...
Read moreWe slept at this lodge previously and found that stay comfortable. This time we slept in room 23 and were very disappointed. Apart from the friendly reception we received we do not have much praise for this stay. The room was very large and had almost no furniture to fill it. The available furniture seemed to be pieces that fitted no where else and was allocated to "just have something" in the room. The bed had no headboard, there was only one bedside cupboard with a skew door, no bedside lamps, one office type chair, old dirty curtains, an open shelve unit with a mismatched table cloth thrown over it to hold the kettle and mugs. The toilet was separate from the bath and shower in a HUGE bare space. No effort was made to decorate it. The cupboards had a stale smell. The TV could not be used as they did not have a decoder. This room was connected to the room next to it by a door only (it was locked) and it was not soundproof at all. You could hear the other occupants talking and moving around and using the bathroom. Imagine our surprise when we found out that the next door room was to be used as a honeymoon suite that evening! Luckily they were very well behaved occupants. We do not travel that much but like to stay in a proper welcoming place when we do and...
Read moreThe place is ok, but not for long stay business travel, there is no desk and chair to seat and work or do your teams meeting. The only table available is the one used for the small kitchen room with kettle, DStv decoder and consumables (teas and sugars). The wardrobe space is poorly designed, no space for even toiletries or toiletry bag. Parking is totally disorganised, you can park infront of anyone's room. You sleep will get disturbed by someone who parks infront of your room and drives out during the night or early morning. The rocks on the drive way makes noise as someone walk or someone pulls out of the parking, disturbing your sleep. The place is not for peaceful, and quite nice stay, the room doors have gaps and not sealed for noise when you close them. Rooms are not modern design and not planned properly to utilise the space for customer to have great experience away from home. The place is okay for a one night traveler stay, unfortunately for me I booked 3 nights. Their food is awesome though, I guess that's the only things I...
