Kuruman Inn by Country Hotels — Hotel in Ga-Segonyana Local Municipality

This once great establishment is now busy falling into disrepair. At our arrival one person's booking was never made. In the room I was offered I had a series obstacles to overcome. The shower door is gone. In its place a full size curtain was hung from a metal pipe fastened with cable ties to the shower frame. The curtain was strung have way so as to leave the other half hanging loose into the shower. After dodging the curtain inside the shower a battle with the taps which does not open and close normally arose. I had to press, turn, squeeze and maneuver the tap's insides before every shower. The once white electrical adapter to be used for cellular charging and the laptop is blackened with filth. Walls are cracked, ceiling boards are coming loose from the wall and the window curtain is at least 30cm too long; dragging on the floor. To top it all the huge generator providing electricity during load shedding hour was placed a distance less than 3 meters away from my room's door. The noise of the generator and the people filling it with diesel at 2 o'clock in the morning was one thing, but the exhaust and and diesel fumes had my nose and eyes burning like mad. Please Country Inn Hotels this place is a disgrace...

The Kuruman Country Inn has a neighbour directly next to the hotel. This neighbour has a huge spotlight in the back yard pointed directly at the rooms of the hotel - that is on all night. And the neighbour has two dogs that bark the whole night! This barking is directly at the windows of the hotel room. Complaining to Reception resulted in a middle of the night pack up and change of room to a room where the dogs could still be heard. Apparently this complaint has happened before but the neighbour just locks his gates and does nothing. While the dogs bark the traffic on the N14 Main Road through town will also keep you awake. Great hotel if you want to lie awake all night. To make matters worse the staff directed me into a parking where a rock on the left side protrudes into the parking far enough to scratch the side...

It's a cute and lovely place. The food👌🏿 wonderful I enjoyed my breakfast. Problems: They don't change sheets frequently so I found dirty and stained sheets, I don't even want to think what the yellow stain was. Plugs trip a lot, the fridge ice melted and watered my drink, it's annoying to always have to ask for the plugs to be switched on. COCKROACHES! I'm not going to go deep into it. Looks like they don't clean, I found oil creases on the table when I arrived (Sunday), I left it there and went to work (Monday), I still found it there when I came back, sickening is an understatement. I don't know if the towel is old or dirty but it doesn't look good.
