Fishbird Art Deco Villa — Hotel in Gauteng

This is a perfect destination for family travelers who want privacy and night timely. Also perfect for solo traveller's who desire some pure solitude. The atmosphere the villa has is so serene. The staff is so intensional about creating a memorable stay for guests. ||My families favorite thing about the villa is the outdoor spaces. The kids could play outside. The pool is so lovely and the views creat such a beautiful escape. ||The decor inside is also amazing and artistic and well thought. It's like staying in an art museum. ||We booked 2 rooms and only 1 room had a television so the kids weren't so keen on that part. But the wifi works fast and never had issues. Also the fridge is only in the kitchen. So this was an inconvenience. Small fridges in the rooms would do. ||The place has borehole water and use solar power. So during the water and electricity shortages in Johannesburg we were not affected. |The security is tight and we felt safe throughout our stay.||If I get a chance I would definitely come back here...

The room is large with a king size bed. Both bed and pillows very comfortable. The bathroom has double vanities and a large shower. It was very quiet. The deck outside where we had a most delicious breakfast each morning was super with a lovely view of Johannesburg. Unfortunately we did not get to try the lovely pool out. Percy, the manager is a real gem and was very accommodating and pleasant and made the breakfasts extra special.
