Francor Guesthouse & Spa — Hotel in Gauteng

I had the privilege of staying at this lovely guesthouse whilst in Pretoria on a personal visit. It fully embodies all that is right in the hospitality industry. Polite, jovial staff. Lush, well-manicured gardens. Lovely ambiance. Secure and serene location. Close proximity to Wonderpark Shopping Centre (took a casual stroll there with no worries). Clean, air-conditioned room with tea and coffee making facilities. All in all, everything I would expect from a highly rated establishment and then some. The area is quiet and the room I stayed in tidy and clean. The yard is stunning-green, full and large and somehow removes that normal B&B feel. My bed felt rather hard initially, but I got accustomed to it. Airconditioned rooms for summer or winter which was fantastic especially as it was relatively cold in the evenings. Breakfast was standard, nothing special, but sufficient otherwise with the normal condiments in the room and bathroom. Reception friendly. When I got to the guesthouse its was like I had walked into a resort in Limpopo. Clean, very serene and amazing facilities. Juan Pierre was amazing, he received us upon arrival and was just there throughout our stay. He was amazingly strict about my daughter safety in the pool and even took time to play with her whilst I was busy with work.
