Gold Reef Lodge — Hotel in Gauteng

Our family of three came across Gold Reef Lodge on the internet and phoned for a booking. The price range was abit above what we had planned to spend but these lovely people accomodated us with a special rate. The accommodation was lovely! The dining area was so homely and we even had a braai by the pool. The owner, Stanton, and his brother Sylvester, made us feel so at home and these people couldn't do enough for us! Just a short ride away from the Gold Reef Casino and Amusement park. The lodge has amazing accommodation for people looking for a place to sleep and eat. The breakfast was delicious and had a halal option. You got to choose how you wanted your egg and between chicken strips or bacon. And you could make your own toast and dish your own cereal. The bedding was nice and warm and was neatly made everyday by the cleaning service. The TV has DSTV and there is a microwave and fridge in the room. Gold Reef Lodge was a pleasant surprise. Wonderful hosts who went the extra mile to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms, which has 2 x Queen size beds, a small fridge, microwave and kettle, definitely served our purpose. The venue is safe, neat and convenient.
