Kamp David Lodge — Hotel in Gauteng

Johannesburg , one of the most dangerous place to visit , with so much apprehensions about the place i booked here only for 2 nights . I was aware this place is little off beaten in term of locations . Everyone suggested only to stay in Sandton or Rosebank this place Observatory is neither the centre , little on one side . My stay on night was pleasant and i left my big luggage here to collect on my return . I read on that day on newspaper major attack incident in Sandton ... so i realised sometime staying off beaten or not mainstream part is good as we don't get the expected limelight as most of tourist go to touristic places ... anyway that the location part Now its about the owner , i know him by name Emmanuel but his card says E. Ekwenze treated me and my sister as his own sister ... since we were scared to death to go out in Johannesburg .... he drove us in his own car , took us to malls for shopping , helped us taking chocolates and other things and we felt very safe and like home there .... in fact i am not fearing about Johannesburg as i was before ..... i was praying let my trip go well then will never think of coming to SA .. but i know good people there now and i am already planning to go back and visit the places i missed in my first trip .... so this is not a touristic location , not high standard place ... but once you reach here , you...

Worst stay ever. The room we found available had no key and only has shooter lock meaning you can't lock it from the outside. Blankets were torn and had hole burns from someone smoking from the bed. Carpet is dirty and hasn't been vacuumed in ages. The 2nd floor was occupied mostly by a group of old white men who seemed to be friends, they made so much noise till the early AMs busy parading on the corridor and knocking at each other's doorstep so loudly.
