MIRATON LODGE HOTEL — Hotel in Gauteng

First of on checking in I waited for more than 5 minutes, the room is too cold, no aircon or heater to warm the room. No even a small carpet on the floor only tiles everywhere. The TV is playing sabc channels only. No remote was given to us to use. No kettle and cups to use inside the room. There's noise from passages, people are free to scream the way they want to. There's no phone or intercom in the room for us to use to communicate with reception, difficult to get hold of them if you want something. Bathroom is so small you cant turn around inside it. Extremely dangerous area. Throughout the course of the night, we heard several cries and police activity outside the motel. I questioned the supervisor if the bed linens and pillows were clean because they didn't smell good, and he said that they were. This location sees a lot of hourly traffic, so there are always people coming in and going out. Very unsafe area. We heard many screams and police during the night on the outside of the hotel. The bed sheets and pillows didn't smell nice, and I asked the manager if they where clean, and he said yes. Many people use this place per hour, so there will be people in and out at all times...
